The camera I was using had to be left behind in sydney, and I haven't got the funds for a new one yet, so I'll just keep on enjoying everyone else's entries for a few more rounds :)

This is super cool full size but for now I think I have made it the right size for this contest?
SA- Do you think we can do another foliage contest since it is coming up on the fall foliage in many parts? They can be gorgeous photos. If it cant be re-done is it okay to start a thread for people to post their foliage pics?

dg, you beat me to it. I was planning on repeating the "Seasonal Colours" contest again (I think it should definitely be an annual thing). Just hadn't decided whether to keep the same name or change it up a bit each time.

Great entry, btw!

Once agaimn you forget that our seasons are opposite of yours........... hello........... its an INTERNATIONAL board.

It is a Canon 350D and shot with the $100 plastic fantastic. That is the 50mm F1.8.
 
funny, i also use a 350D. and guess what? i have a nifty fifty as well =D
cant go wrong for $80


Fabric 22 your a copy cat. at least my bumble bee was alive when i took its picture:p just messin with ya

(bumbles are the only ones i will get that close to cuz they never sting me =D )
 
The 1.6 crop factor is the barstard feature with that combination. Everytme some takes a photo of a group of three or more, you have to stand so fart away. But there is no better bang for your buck than that five flat-bladed apeture beauty. As much as I love my 350D, I can't wait to get something of a Canon 5D variety with no crop. It will mean I have to factor in things like vignetteing, but it will be worth the upgrade. %)

I have lots of pics with yellow in them, it's hard to pick a yellow "themed" shot.

So I will go with the run of the mill macro/bug/flower shot.:|
