SA, where did you take that shot?

Thanks, QE. South western Lake Ontario. Golden Horseshoe area. Here is a capture from a different day with the ugliness of civilisation as a backdrop.

For the record, the Birds theme was proposed on June 5th, the photo was taken on June 9th. The lake has been filled with baby ducks, geese and swans, among others. The sad part is that I've been going there for years, but have never really taken proper notice, as I usually just do laps on my bike. This year, because I'm taking long walks instead with someone in a wheelchair, I'm suddenly noticing ten times the nature that I did before.

Here's a mum who is still expecting. I think she's the last on the lake and about two to three weeks behind the rest. I hope nothing's wrong.

edited to add: I had to go with katmeow. Those pelicans are so jovially frantic! BA's photo is amazing too, with such rich detail. We may have to start advertising in other forums to get more votes, darn it, hehe.

The fish in the air was rather serendipitous... I was just snapping away happily while this fisherman threw bait in the direction of the pelicans. They are such funny looking birds!
