i repeat my question
OP, correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like the photo was taken at night/in a dark area with a spotlight on the subject.

And ditto on these pictures fucking rocking!

I have 2 entries that could be entered. I had a hard time deciding. :(

I took that picture at the national history museum in D.C. IIRC, it was a picture of a grain of salt magnified 1,000,000X or something. It was shown on a wall about 10' x 10'.

why is it like that?

its not even been used.... did you grab it out of the walk in freezer and set it somewhere humid?
actually yes it was used. the tip is out of focus but there is a dent/hole in the tip. it gets like that when you release the gas fast. the cold cartrige condenses the water/humidity from the air, and ten freezes it into ice crystals. it was taken maybe 40 secs after being cracked.

BA, thanks so much because you have finally explained one of the greatest mysteries of our local pub.

Where do all the snooker balls go?

Now I can explain to all the lads that they are shrunk and used to make salt.

woohoo.

Oh and SA, if my pic isnt red enough Im quite happy to have it left out.

didnt have time for the best pic but I had to condense my Coke collection into a really small space so here's some of it:

p1000374fy3.jpg

shows off some promotional bottles throughout the years; Xmas Classic, Classic Bottle style, 50th NHL All Star games promo... the cup to the back left can hold over a quarter gallon, the tallboy comes from Germany, and that's a collectors plate from the early 90s. Here's the other half if you're interested in my mild obsession:

link... the mug on the left is just a nice mug, came with some cool coasters... the cup in the middle is from 1977, commemorating 75 years since Coca-Cola's introduction in 1902, and another Classic bottle in the background. As you can tell I'm a purist, which is why New Coke makes no appearance as it diverges from Cola Classic just as much as Fanta would even though it's manufactured by the same corporation. I also have a wall clock, golden coke bottle keychain, screw-top Classic style bottle lined with silver, and a collector's tray from the 70s but those were all either too big to fit in or I just couldn't find em :(

I haven't even had a cup of Cola in about 3-4 years but I'm still a sucker for the brand name :p
