Surprising lack of entries this week. I went with Bearlove because I have a massive love for aviation.

This was a tough round I think. Personally, when I think of 'impressions' I think of Impressionism, which would be really tough to do with unmodified photography. The imprecision of Impressionism just isn't well served by that medium.

I really liked ysrh's composition (what a cool room!) and kate's landscape choice, but I went with Bearlove because it reminded me of Mélièz's classic film Le Voyage Dans La Lune. Particularly how their rocket flew up to the moon, and impaled the 'man' on the moon right in the eye.

I went with kate's entry because I loved how the photo was framed, and how the clouds/sky looked like it was a painting

^ Similar reason to me, I like how the lines work like brush strokes.

Ya know if you gobble enough acid and run really fast you can make your own light trail! True story.
