That was tough! My vote went to Sancho... great capture. I loved the contrast of the bird against the brilliant blue sky.

Thanks! Not a professional, barely even a semi-professional. I do wedding & portrait work (Senior, baby, family) when I have time for extra money. I casually shoot for fun often. I have a good handle on exposure metering and getting proper white balance which I think makes a lot of difference in the final photograph.

Is Aqua's photo altered?

^ There's a certain filter (which i'm blaking on the name right now) that can create that effect in a photo. I have a feeling he was using a filter rather than altering his photo, but one can never be too sure?

My vote goes to neo, the color was so surreal and yet so natural that it called my name.

Amazing round everyone, totally blew this one out of the water!

You can also create that effect with moving water by leaving the shutting open for longer.

Either way I don't think it was altered
