Bluelight weekly photography contest Round 16: Sunsets and Sunrises

^^ I agree , that one is a little to manipulated if you ask me.

Why would you say that?

I just took a little look in google images and found thousands with those colours.

I think thats a little unfair.

Anyways if you have a look through the photo thread in aus social you will soon realise that acid is a bit of a freak of a photographer.

Or am I just dum and there is some giveaway sign or something?

Yeah I admit i know nothing about photoshop.

My question was innocent enough. Let's dispense with the baseless accusations, please. If you have an issue with the photo, please bring it after the owner has had a chance to give an "about". Most likely, by that time any doubts would have been allayed.

Let's play ball.

Thanks. :)

Egads! Sorry gang, I meant to post next week's theme two days ago and completely forgot! :(

Next theme will be: Shadows

edit: I put up "Rain", but changed it thirty seconds later, as I realised we're in the dead of winter here, LOL

I don't have the software to re-size on this machine. I'll do it from home later though. Would you like me to null the link in the mean time?

hahaha, just a reminder that not everyone lives wherever you do.

Where I live we have hardly seen any rain for pretty much 7 years and are in the worst drought in our countriues history but its not a reason not to have rain as a topic.

damn if only i had a camera!

central florida ALWAYS has AMAZING sunsets, and on most school days i get a pritty awesom sunrise too. a day without an amazing sunset is more rare (if theres no clouds in the sky). always amazing colors and stuff. this past winter has been awesome. just yesterday there was some crazy cloud formation in the east that looked like a bunch of rings in some kind of anceint symbol. usualy the whole west side of the sky is bright red pink and orange.

ill tell you how, wait nevermind theres no clouds in the sky. maybe tomorow or something, but you all definatly should see some of the skies we get here!!

i'd wager that ACID uses simple filters on her lenses. she is an awesome photographer, so those accusations are entirely baseless

^ I wouldn't say 'baseless' She no doubt did just take it I believe this as I have seen some of her work!!!
but the 'burning' of the clouds is an effect obtainable through photoshop and is fairly common, and the silhouette is remarkable!!!

medi, I am well familiar with effects attainable with Photoshop. Having said that, if, in your own words, "she no doubt did just take it I believe this as I have seen some of her work", then why bring up the issue again if not with the sole purpose of igniting an extinguished argument?

Why not spend some energy taking different types of shots instead? The type which you can post here as contest entries. Chop-chop, snap-snap. ;)
