This was almost impossible-
I went for Impacto Profundoo-
But there was something about every photo I loved!
N3o- Reminds me of skiing I love the coloring in yours - crisp, clean- nice shot.
Caff, you captured the enormous size perfectly.
Lnf- I love the mountains being shaded, the sun rays and the glowing river, perfectly centered.
JSK- the mountains peaking out over the water covered in snow is beautiful and reminds me of where I moved from a couple years ago now.....an island with the most amazing views.
hoopy-That is a winter wonderland. I can't even imagine looking over that in person. It must have been an unforgettable run.
Kate- Your picture captured me- It reminded me of a fairy land
The green is brilliant. Looks like paradise.
scuba- There is something so that pulls at my heart when I see the black mountains in front of a glorious sunset....and those clouds. GREAT photo.
Jude- I had a hard time not choosing yours- I want to be standing there, looking at that.
PT- I liked the contrast in your photo- The clouds actually look like cotton balls
michael- I can almost smell the sage. It reminds me of Wyoming- the red land, canyons, mountains and plains.......
BA- Amazing. The color is gorgeous and of course, the Cascades are beautiful
SHM- Where is this?!?!?! The water, the sky, the mountains- this photo is awe inspiring.
Myst- What captured me most about your photo was the mermaid!! Pretty pretty shot.
Sam- Your photos put a person there- The sky is reaching over me and the mountains are stunning.
Zzz- Like I said before- there is something about the black mountain against the sunset- It is almost eerie but in a good way

Everyone had beautiful photos this round- It was a very hard choice- but for me Impacto Profundo's mountain demanded my vote. It towers over everything......makes all the life below it look so.....small

i went with SHM bc it just had so many nice elements to it and great colors.

but really, all were epic photos, such a great round!

kate gets my vote... there's something eerily calling to me within that grassy little valley. The sunlight and shadows make it seem like a little secluded happy place - a place where I could just lay without a care. Almost surreal.

Love the atmospheric heaviness of it; it has an "At the Mountains of Madness" flavor to it.

SHM- Where is this?!?!?! The water, the sky, the mountains- this photo is awe inspiring.

It's Chilean Patagonia, Torres del Paine national park.

The colours are helped by a lack of ozone, that bush is called a Firebush (for obvious reasons) and that's a glacier coming towards the camera. It's a heck of a long way to get down there, but I'd recommend it to anyone.

i voted for kate, awesome colours and composition. the rock goes up, and the water goes down and the earth is squashed in between. great photo.

it was a tough choice between n3o and hoopy, but i went with n30. even though the horizon isn't like 100% perfectly even, it's still damn close and I like the cold mesmerizing, almost simplistic atmosphere it has. it fits with the whole blue/white wintery theme i've been feeling lately.

very hard round with lots of good entries. contenders for my vote were samadhi, impacto, kate, hoopy, n3o and ocean, but i went with kate in the end as i loved the curve of the valley and the creek flowing through it.
