I'm the same. Beautiful creature you've captured there N3o, but I'm going with 8ft this week. I suspect that photo captures the vibe of the moment, and it really appeals to me in terms of the theme.

dtta- your photo was pretty cool, and great that you caught the hive when it was still tiny. IT must not have stayed like that for very long-- wasps are industrious fuckers. Also, I've never seen red wasps before, and I find them to be somehow more menacing than the yellow varieties. Great shot!

I went with 8ft for the vote though. I'm a sucker for sunrise photos.
