You live in North QLD don't you? They are doing exceptionally well, considering that. That Agave on the left looks likes a tequilana. Do want.

Tripping one Saturday afternoon, the sun coming through the neighbour's garden looked exquisite

Yep, Neo. From last winter actually.

Your leaf is a Philodendron deliciosa. Edible fruit, be carefull though. They can hurt your gums...

An unconventional garden. One of my favorite parts of picking up new orchids is wandering through this hanging garden of vanda orchids, it is amazingly beautiful.
