This was hard.
There were a number I really loved........
PNW's was amazing......
In RogueRobot's I loved the stillness of the water and reflections.........
ScubaGirl's looks like heaven.
MzThiz's blue water is such a bright beautiful shade.......
Harley's beach looks perfect and the colors are brilliant.
Okay I could go on and on there were so many good ones- but I went with Proficient.
Proficient captured paradise and delivered it to BL.

Tough decision as always.

I almost went with Rogue Robot's photo b/c it's where I grew up, so it definitely hit home!

I really liked the way in which ocean's photo was taken. I imagine that there's a technical term for this...but the low-close-up on the rocks with a beautiful back drop makes the photo quite spectacular.

In the end tho I voted for StoneHappyMonday. Everybody seemed so determined to get to their final destination. 4 kids with a paddle and the young one in front who seems to be on the verge of jumping towards the shore. It seemed like that photo was taken at the most perfect possible time...not a moment too early nor too late. Nice work

StoneHappyMonday...Would you please tell me where that was taken?

had to go with Profficient ~ that is somewhere I would love to kayak through

if anyone is curious, the shot i chose was of a Platypus, an ancient monotreme (egg laying mammal) found only in Eastern Australia .. not quite the epitome of a waterway, though I often canoe in this river so its definitely navigable

the lighting on the clouds in katmeow's is fantastic. too many great entries this round.

The bar has definitely been raised around these here parts, that's for sure.

I particulary liked SHM's, ocean's & Rogue Robot's, but I went with Jamshyd in the end because it tells a a story as well as being a great photo. Very National Geographic. :D

Damn... so many missed piccy comps and I stick me nose in to find any number of fine piccies. Loadsa goodies but SHM got my vote just cos it was the pic I liked the most by a nose
