used natural light from my big windows on a black canvas background ... I used a canon 30d and a f/2.8 17-70mm sigma macro lens ... this is actually a self portrait that I took using a tripod and a timer and lots of patience ...

I slightly desaturated it and thats what came out. Everything else is pretty much the way it was.
