Bluelight weekly photography contest Round 126: Weathered/Dilapidated

Somewhere in Saskatchewan, off the Trans-Canada.

How does the '3 differing perspectives' one work? It's just one picture, right? :P

Maybe I'm missing the importance of ambiguity.

i don't have a pic for this week's theme, but so many of these pics are awesome!! i can't wait until next week's....

It's going to be hard to pick a winner! Some very nice pictures.

i'm so jealous of all of you who get to travel to these cool places for these awesome pictures!!!

just had to say that! lol

Sounds like 3 photos to me :\

Damn... I was thinking it was going to be like lining up 3 of the same things with different interpretations. Like 3 ants, one carrying a leaf, one carrying a crumb, and one carrying nothing (just off the top of my head).

That's some tree, MrP. :D

Must grow really quickly.

It's a strangler fig tree ~ my favourite genus of plant

they actually grow quite slowly, this one was planted by the first settlers and has eventually made it out to the park seat that was probably planted much later in the story ...

to me it represents a LOT about the interconnectedness of humanity and the natural world ~

I don't make the rules around here, but I'm sure spork will be along soon to clarify it all on the next competition thread. One of the best things about these photo comps is that you post a photo of how you interpret the subject & not necessarily what everyone else thinks it should be.

Some will vote for the best photo, others take into account the actual subject & I'm sure there has been plenty of favouritism votes also. Just do what you think is most fitting :D
