I have NOTHING for this one. I LOVE BA's, I really like pics of abandoned buildings and crap for some reason.
 
ZZyzx...Your photograph fits perfectly. To be honest, I think desolation and I think dusty cars, desert, tumbleweeds, one thing surrounded by no thing...yeah, nothing. This probably would have been the last thing of which I thought, but what an awesome entry! Devoid of people, animals, plants...even varying colors. Awesome job.

BA, more along the lines of what I imagined for desolation, and awesome photograph!!!
 
Wow, yet another brilliant round this week!! It's going to be a tough decision again...
 
desolate:
a. Devoid of inhabitants; deserted: "streets which were usually so thronged now grown desolate" Daniel Defoe.
b. Barren; lifeless: the rocky, desolate surface of the moon.
desolation:
3. Devastation; ruin: a drought that brought desolation to the region.

Iiii think Frosty deserves the prize!
