Pat Benetar - Hit Me With Your Best Shot

Was torn between chrissie, Bearlove and cletus.
Went with bearlove in the end.
Really good round guys.
 
I had to go with "Tangled up In Blue", that one just struck me as too funny, plus getting the dog to look directly at the camera is no easy feat, and it's such a striking image. She looks like she was having a good time messing around with the yarn and, when you took her picture she looks like a very good listener. I think the fact that I love that song more than all the other ones listed might've had something to do with my vote, so sorry if that was a biased opinion, but it really is a good picture.
I really think the "Blinded by the Light" is a high quality shot, as is the "Freefallin'". Both of those could be album covers.
Also Bearlove's "It's Oh So Quiet" is really interesting, that one deserves honorable mention. It's a picture you just wanna look at for a while, and it rewards you for it.
And the final honorable mention I want to give is "Hit Me With Your Best Shot," that's a picture that should not be underestimated.
 
Really difficult choosing one, but I went with neko's in the end. The composition of the shot is just so fantastic, in a movie still kind of way. I got a lot of Kill Bill vibes.

Awesome entries all around though !

Yea I gotta ask, what were the circumstances of that photo undead.... looks so improbable.

And double shoutout to kaywholed who sadly didnt get any votes :(, great photo.
 
I live in a small town in Ohio halfway between Cleveland and Columbus. The county Parks District organized a series of three vintage baseball games to be played one afternoon during the fall by these two vintage baseball enthusiast teams. Cleveland had a team and Columbus had a team. Each game played was from a different year and they used the appropriate set of rules for each year. Everyone had pretty legit sounding nicknames. They used baseballs that were constructed and wound the same way as they were in the 1800s. They whole deal was really cool!

I have a whole series of these photos if people are interested in seeing em.

And they're probably gonna do it again this year because it was a big hit... so I'll probably have even MORE at a later date. :D

Also an honorary mention to undead as well. I love a b/w photo me. Did anyone else notice the bespoke bowler hatted gentleman's weird looking double elephant trunk penis? :D
 
damn...I kinda wished I went for Undead's now, not that I like any of the others less, but his just grew on me...come on, it deserves more than 1 vote. That's an amazing picture!
I knew I should've underestimated it....

Many thanks! And no worries. I don't look at the 1 vote as being that people don't like my photo or anything, it was a really good round this week and when you have that many great photos it's all or nothing. The fact that I've gotten so many honorary mentions is enough to make me happy! :D

Btw... honorary mentions count as votes too, right? ;)

So sorry I have been offline for the last few days - Mazey would have had my vote but so many great entries in this round! Thank you for all the votes and comments for my image - The mods / admins would have already seen this from my random image posts :D.
