Flirting is the hardest thing in the world. They call it Spadework for a reason. You have to be constantly on your game and looking interested and thinking of cheesy stuff to say for hours on end. You drop your guard for even a moment and her eyes will glaze over and you're as good as gone.

Meh the dating game sucks....
 
hmm, i dont know Wacky... i'd say that there is some reciprocal interest from her side [specially because of the fact that she glances at you and smiles when she's not at the bar]. but it really is difficult to tell as like most people have already said bar people get paid to flirt, and be nice and friendly. so i guess i haven't been much help to you there, sorry :\ BUT i do advise if you like her as much as you seem to, to just take a risk and ask her out. think about it what do you have to lose? nothing really. if she says no, oh well you tried because she seemed nice and you wanted to she if something could develop between you, and if she's not interested well its most probably because she's not the right girl for you anyway. and if she says yes: SCORE! now you can see *if* there is potential there to work on.


ps: i luv how you analysed the whole situation and described it because i do exactly the same thing.


as for me: i've been thinking how sincerity seems to be such a rare characteristic these days.... its really quite disheartening :\
 
What would you think if the chick at the door keeps hand balling free drink cards to me, then when I ran out she would pass some more on.... I never thought much of it, just brilliant that I was getting constant freebies???...?? Am I wrong? Man I'm out of it :P

hehe, okay. i'd also ask have you noticed whether she does it as much to other people? if not, yeah i'd say she probably likes you and is trying to give you a hint that she wants you to approach her. so... if you like her i say DO IT! see what happens :)

me and my friend are getting handfasted (pagan wedding) and there will be lots of shiney things as decorations.

I want a boyfriend or girlfriend so they can worship me and do everything for me, and take me out and have sex with me. All the right reasons.

I vote tulips aswell.
 
I am not single.. therefore, apparently as the topic suggests, I live with justification.

with regard to the tulips, it's a deal! (i was only thinking poppies as in opium)

faerie, i can do all that, but remember it'll be a student budget.. so no sex the same time as an exam, unless you're quiet in the cubicle.

it's funny: i'm in denial about being alone because i'm alone, but when (if) i ever really get together with someone, i'll just be in denial...about...the same thing.

Haven't been in a steady relationship for all of my 25 years. So single but are actually having fun. Had 3 partners in last 2 months( and no I didnt pay for it!:)) Three up on last 3 years ;(
