I wouldnt marry someone after being together for a few months.. even a year.. but thats because I have already been in a 3yr relationship, where at first I thought it was destiny for us to get married.. but after 3yrs we had completely changed and even tho he's still a friend, there was no way we'd be getting married. But thats my own experience.

Ofcourse I can just see that being turned on its head one day :)

why the fuck would you feel immature? it's that pure excitment when you hold hands, cuddle or just smooch away oblivious to everyone else that makes relationships so attractive and desirable :)

It's bloody amazing how many people can't get that simple concept.

I mean... they're bright enough to figure how to use a computer... then get on a website... and well HEY! they even found bluelight... but they can't get something a 2 year old can understand. If you don't like peas you won't eat them - if you don't like a thread just don't open it!

negative comments are unnecessary, thank you - ifr you don't like it well too bad.

oh and Bluelight is not just a "drugs forum" it is a community with a harm reduction focus.
 
I would have to say that i agree with fluffy on that one... although everyone will most likely agree that being in a loving relationship is one of the most empowering thing in the world, i believe that half the fun of the relationship is finding the someone special ... meeting for coffee the first time... holding hands for the first time... the first kiss... that is the most exciting bit of the relationship.... IMHO. :)

and yep to trusting ur instinct and rather regretting something u did instead of something u didnt. i've missed too many opportunities in my life just cos i thought twice. now i'm slowly learning to just go with it and its working great.

^^^ and having that first "long" conversation on the phone... :):):):):) and not having those uncomfortable silences.. because you get along so well, like you have known each other forever. *sighs*....and dreaming about them too much... and smiling randomly at nothing at all, just cuz u know there there.

Falling in love is all that, and basically what's been said by Cosmic Mist, Syntech and Fluffy. Little butterflies in your stomach, heart skipping a beat, that overall rush and the smile that you don't realise you have on your face when you think of that person.

Being all prim and proper, acting mature? That's more like the old times when you don't get the chance to fall in love because most likely you're in an arranged marriage.

admittedly it's a nice change to the normal boring whinge about being single.....and I'm really happy for those who have it....but all it does is remind me of what I just can't find :(

ah fuck it. now's not a good time to read stuff like this. I've just had a close friend end up with someone I have a huge crush on....and have done for ages. I was looking forward to seeing him at my house party on the weekend so I could chat to him and 'stuff' but he ended up with my friend. (she didn't know I liked him). now I have to put up with seeing them together and being all couply and stuff :(

now I'm faced with watching it all happen with them.....while I just have to sit back and say nothing. I can't say anything to him cause it will seem like I'm trying to be vindictive and sabotage things...which I never want to do. So I just have to sit in silence, say nothing, and just deal with it.

life sucks.

hey thought now all the intros are taken care of id jump on board... (excuse the semi-pun thing going there)... but love is great until u meet osmeone, only to find they are moving to Germany in 2 weeks.... sigh, what to do then?

only one thing i can think of... more holidays in germany!
 
^^^ one of my closest friends from Brisbane met a girl from Germany and he's moved there for a year to be with her. He gets to travel and be with his girl.

I too have a crush - on one of my housemate's workmates, I have for over a year (am pathetic retarded loser 8)) and am too shy to do anything about it apart from recently sending him drunken smses at 2 o'clock in the morning when I'm out =D Heh. I think I will do something proactive about my crush though, sooner rather than later, the thought of him with someone else would rather upset me.

Ah well.
