Well I'm single, and it ain't all that bad.. Never really had anything long term.. Just always wondered if I'm actually missing out on anything??.. besides a constant source of ..... kissing!! :)

Single, and hating it, but not bothering to do anything about it...
Ehh, prolonging your own pain and suffering isn't that bad once you get used to it...

fuckit, not bothered. if i meet someone, so be it, if not, then ill simply remain complacent. its certainly not something that concerns me on a daily basis.
i believe many people turn to relationships as a means of trying to solve their own problems, but we all know, you won't be happy with someone else, if you're not happy with yourself. (is that a cliche? oh well)
Don't feel that im sour, because im single -- it comes down to priorities, time, energy, and the position that im in at this point of my life. im satisfied to an extent with where i am at -- don't fix it if it's not broken*.

im single, looking, but hey after the way my last treated me, maybe i should become a lesbian..second thoughts i think ill buy a vibrator and thank my lucky stars im single in this day and age who needs a man or a woman??

sydkiwi: Do you think that a woman couldn't treat you the same way? Regardless of how you were treated (I wouldn't know) I can guarantee there'd be women out there who'd do the same... Even if it was as bad as being beaten, bossed around and used for sex, there'd be women who'd do that too, both to other females and to males aswell...
That said there'd also be great women and men out there who wouldn't treat you that way... Its just a matter of finding them...

The singles rollercoaster can be bad. But remember sometimes the relationships rollercoaster can be pretty hairy too. Good luck to you guys here, but remember to have some fun while there.

Also, the idea that we should consider ourselves the most important person in the world is the root of many human vices and the reason behind most of the crap that fills this world... I'm actually quite happy with being single now for some bizarre reason, which I'm still trying to understand.
All I know is that I'm a heap better than I was a few days ago... and no drugs were involved.. :P
I mean, I mainly can't be arsed with all the emotional stress of trying to find a partner, so I'm happy as is. :)
 
Tars and the rest in here: I didnt mean it to sound bad. I just said that because although being in a relationship can be fantastic, it can also be a challenge at times. I would like to think people can have fun whether they are in a relationship or single. Try not to worry about either too much, things work themselves out eventually.

That's it, I'm celibate from now on in. Men are just so not worth my time and effort. Or maybe it's just the fact that i give people too many chances, so when i do finally get sick of it all there's a lot gone wrong.
