Bluelight Singles - from begining to end! don't we love the merge feature!

I think its about time to remind you all about the point of life. To live it, as opposed to sitting around on your poxy fat white asses talking about it.
Now I'm sure that if one added up the combined time and effort in each of these threads, there'd be enough hours and days there for a marginally successful relationship to bud, flower, and perish (and many have). So why the fuck don't you make an effort?
Say for starters, every second fucking post you'd make, don't make it! Go out and meet new people instead, pinch asses, grope, I don't care...
Either that or just revert to cybersex or some shit, because frankly that's what its all about isn't it?

Okay, let me start a ramble by imagining what my life will be like in six months. I will be living in a new city, finally working for the first time in my life, be in the process of making new friends....and will be dating again!
Now as many of you know, I am the smoothest of the smooth operators. But how should I begin my attack? Where should I look for fresh meat? I was pondering this question when I found my answer in the August 2002 issue of Playboy.
I was reading an article on page 104, "Secrets of a Round-The-Clock Pickup Artist," which describes what happened when a dude hit on every attractive woman he met for an entire week. Here is the summary of his stats:
  • The Supermarket: he approached nine girls, got three phone numbers, parlayed that into two dates and got laid once! :)
  • Bookstore: he approached three girls, got one number, one date....and got laid once! :)
  • Landromat: he approached three girls, got one number, one date....nope! :(
  • Car Wash: he approached eight girls, got three numbers (but one was fake), got one date....and got laid once! :)
  • Department of Motor Vehicles: he approached two girls, got one number, one date....and got laid once! :)
  • Restaurant During Lunch: he approached two girls, got one number, zero dates....nope! :(
  • Lingerie Store: he approached one girl and didn't get her number! :(
  • Elevator: he approached twelve girls, got one number, zero dates....nope! :(
  • Traffic: he approached twelve or thirteen girls but didn't get any phone numbers! :(
  • Super Bowl Party: he approached ten girls, got two numbers, one date....nope! :(
So that is my solution! During my weekday nights, I will be hanging out in supermarkets and bookstores trolling for lonely damsels in distress. And remember, this guinea pig was 5'6" and poor. I am 6'2" and will be gainfully employed. :)
If that doesn't work, I will get the Bluelighter AIM/ICQ list and use Bluelight as my personal dating service? I will shamelessly cash in on my tremendous popularity as a moderator to invite random Bluelight females to spend a weekend in my apartment. Don't worry, girls, I don't bite....well, not too much. :o
Question for the ladies: Have you ever been picked up in a grocery store or a bookstore?
 
okay... i dunno... but what is the problem with being single??? i am starting to become less and less concerned with being a "lone wolf" so to speak...
relationships are over-rated, sex is SEVERELY over-rated, there is absolutely no need in modern society to have to worry about relationships or stuff life that... friends are better anyway... there are too many other complications with all the other stuff...
Catch-22 : what makes u think being short is a turn-off???
i really don't want to bother with a relationship... total waste of time... i don't need other people to make me happy... gotta be happy with urself first then other people will be drawn to u... people who say they are happy in relationships, is it that u were not happy before? how can a relationship make u any happier than not being in one? i don't get it...

i like to think relationships are satisfying, fufilling and complete us. idealistic? romantic? perhaps... i also subscribe to soulmates :)
nothing is more rewarding than sharing our fragile moments with someone loved.
speaking for myself, i never feel as alive as when im in love.
and sex is never over-rated :D

Sex is so not overrated.
And some people are happy being single but also happy being in a relationship... i am happy either way. I do think it is pathetic though the people who cannot be happy unless they are with someone.

I'd like to second Boppychick, sex isn't overrated, try fucking someone who knows what they're doing, and secondly consider using more drugs while having sex... ;)
Also a big ass shout to Vurtomatic, and here was me thinking that being romantic had gone the fuck outta fashion. Big ups to those who believe!
That said, I have thrown myself into the "too hard basket" (not a dirty pun) where relationships are concerned.

I don't think u can "get" good sex... u make it good... its all state of mind...
for me, for now, i feel sex is totally over-rated. until i am convinced otherwise, that's that! (please somebody, convince me otherwise... ;) )

So like, I've refrained from posting in this thread while i was overseas, but now Im back I may as well interject some news:
Hijinx and I are back together :)
"get the fuck outta here then punk!" I hear you saying, but not so fast - I have some interesting conjecture to add!
While we are a couple in name, we're still appart for the next 4 or so months. Both being rather sexual people we came up with some 'rules' for sexual interaction with other people...
1) We can mess around with / fuck other people, but it can last for no more than 2 weeks (3 weekends), after that, you cant be with that person again.
2) It cant be with any person who is signifigantly involved in our lives and is likely to be around at a later stage when issues may arise. This doesnt translate to 'must be a total stranger' but basicly means we can get involved with a person who might cause problems for us later.
3) its all about the sex. There is to be no emotional involvement or getting attached to said person, if that starts to happen, it must end.
so...thats basicly the situation atm...im just wondering what comments people have to make on our meantime arrangement....?
