It never fails. Every time I read something really insightful, or just fucking cool the profile says the poster is from Australia. I've always thought Australia was pretty cool, but Bluelight has given me the impression that it's the coolest place in the world.

I've learned a lot about Australia since I've been on Bluelight to. You guys have some BIG cities. I knew Australia was well populated, but I had know idea how big Melbourne, and Sydney were.

I need to get out your way and have a look around. Sounds like the best scene the world has to offer. Real people having a lot fun.

yeah, I love it when people, specially Americans take the time to realise that we are more than just kangaroos, sand and aboriginals with spears..........lol.

In actual fact we are bugger all different to the states..........except probably better beaches.

Oh and one other thing...........We dont have any weird accents like the rest of the world.

True, but I have good reason. My thought is genuine, and my statement is true. I've been thoroughly impressed by the Aussy posters on this board.

How did I get to Australian social to make this comment?

Well, as a senior mod I get the reports for all forums. I was checking a report in this forum that seemed "hostile", but it leveled itself out. This got me thinking about the about the good nature of the Australians in this board, and how it might be one of the values the makes Bluelight work.

So that's the logic, if you still don't trust it than,

"Fuck you"

is that the American thought you were looking for;)

Me and the girl will visit. Getting the time and the money is the trick. We both talk about it often.
 
When I first saw this thread, I thought it was titled "Bluelight makes me think Aussies are shit", and I was ready to come in and tell you to go fuck yourself with an iron stick...

But alas, you were complementing us. So thank you. We are great arent we. Well most of us are. I'm not too keen on the child porn guys though.

From what I know of you 64tf, the reason you like Aussies so much is you identify with our sense of humour - something not all Americans do. You've got a great deadpan wit and sense of irony, and also a finely honed sense of the ridiculous. You like your beer, you have similar values in terms of mateship, and you're a laid back kind of guy. Hell, I think you are an Aussie and aliens just accidently plonked you in Ohio.

I somewhere that aussies have an inbuilt bullshit detector and I recon its pretty much on the mark and explains why we are so easy going/friendly and genuine.
