Hi there my beloved b00bs n00bs. This is the first in an occasional series of my New Member Introductions lectures. They will be available on DVD some time next year, so don't panic if you miss one.

What we all have to remember is that some people view Bluelight while at work or in other public places. This means it's very important to keep naked or distasteful images hidden from view, or at the very least marked with the 'NSFW' warning ('Not Safe For Work'.)

A recent addition to the Bluelight software is the NSFW tag. You can use this to hide things like photos, links or text until the viewer presses the button. Like so:

NSFW:
<Photo of RavenousBlonde and Stellablue75 spit-roasting Felix against his will, well at least that's what they think...>

So as you can see, you can temporarily hide all sorts of distasteful things in this manner.

All you need to do is highlight the relevant url or text in the message box, and click the
redcard.gif
button at the top right.

NSFW:

So, ladies, if you want to practice posting naked pics of yourself, here's the place to try it out. :)

And if any guys want to have a go... well... if you really must. :\

Girls, don't put up any pictures of yourself in pigtails or Felix will chase after you for months. You have been warned! :D

Great idea felix, a serious of lectures with the ultimate goal of getting you more nekkid b00bEEEEzz. I can't look at any of these because I'm at work :( Which I guess is the whole point of this thread.

You're not missing anything, hoptis. :D
Good idea Felix. Also, the
redcard.gif
image is a miniature of alasdairm's avatar. I think it's was used because he suggested implementing the feature.

^ Let's look at the evidence, shall we?

Well fuck me backwards, you live and learn. I have never sat close enough to the screen to notice this before. It's like a little Bluelight Easter Egg or something. :)

By the way: I'm quite hurt and saddened by the cynicism in this thread. This is a genuine attempt to provide some learnin' to the n00bs, you know? Thanks for your support and enthusiasm Peppermint Fear

, now let's see you try it for yourself.

I'm LMAO. This place, community, whatever, is just what I needed! I been staying home for 2 months (closet user, supposed to be cleaning up my act on 'done) but I have been extremly bored. And now look! I have all the excitment I can handle.

P.S. Living at 'rents house for now-while I 'clean up' so they are cooking in kitchen-wondering what I'm laughing out loud about....if they only knew I was continuing my drug use vicariously through you guys. okay now can someone take a few opaites and post something about nodding out?

the [nsfw] feature started life in the film & television forum, where it was called
and was used to hide movie information unless people explicitly clicked to see it - thus avoiding their movie-going experience from being spoiled if they had not yet seen the movie and they inadvertently read the post

the syntax was a little different to accommodate the name of the movie. it's used like this:
soylent green is made out of people!
which looks like this:

soylent green is made out of people!

you have digitalduality to thank for the fact that the button is based on my avatar. he's the one who proposed it and i am, indeed, honored that it has stuck.

live and learn. props on this idea, felix. it's like a tip of the day and it rocks. thanks.

If that was directed at me (not sure), then I wasn't being cynical. Just warning innocent young girls that you like pigtails, that's all. :D

Nice tip though. I like it when these tags get used. :)

Damn it, felix! Now my post is only as useful as a star wars special edition DVD!;)
