This is ace that you've made a new friend. My advice, though (and please don't take this in an offensive way) would be to try and keep yourself safe. Get to know people on here and talk to them for awhile. Now I'm not saying that any of you are crazy stalkers or owt n if you become friends that's great but please try to think sensibly about being safe. I used to give out all my details to anyone then found out the hard way that it wasn't such a good idea.
You can meet people on this site - it's a great site, full of friendly people - but be patient and give it time. Enjoy the site and talking about your interests and what-not.
Of course, this is only advice and I can't, or won't, tell anyone what to do but please try to think on what I'm trying to say. The Internet can be a very valuable place but also a dangerous one too if you're not careful.

Hey I from Ft Lauderdale that's only 1200 miles. Welcome to BL and be careful, my sister screwed up and was raped by 5 guys. She's passed away now so no longer has to live with that but it was a terrible trauma that messed her up pretty bad, drugs leading to her death.
