News Bluelight is turning 27!

Twenty-seven years ago, a small group of people decided that honest conversation about drugs would keep more people safe than silence would. That idea became Bluelight.org.

Since then, millions of people have come here looking for information, usually from someone who had been in the same spot. Some of you have been here for two decades. Some of you joined last week. All of you are the reason this place works.

One thing hasn't changed in 27 years: Bluelight is independent and run by volunteers. Our moderators, admins and board give their time for free. Nobody tells us what we can or can't say, which is why you can trust what you read here.

Independence has a cost, though. Hosting, security and software all have to be paid for, and we rely on this community to cover them.

So for our birthday, we're asking for one thing: if Bluelight has ever helped you or someone you care about, please consider a donation. Every amount helps, and every dollar goes into keeping Bluelight running.

Cant believe ive been here 2 fucking decades. BL is one of the few sites left from the golden age of the internet imo

I found BL after a facebook group on psychedelic chemistry got shutdown. So I went on psychonautwiki.org and found a link to the forum. Wasn't really all that active in the first year. but since 2020 have been here regularly. Cheers!

Happy birthday Bluelight! I love the forum, and more than that, I love the BLers that make it one of the better communities on the internet, that's still alive and helping people today.

I don't really remember how I found Bluelight exactly, but essentially just from scrolling the internet researching niche psychedelic drugs. I had been introduced to 2C-I, and eventually discovered MXE. That turned my brain on and made me want to understand how drugs worked and how all of these different and new drugs affected people, and I wanted to be safe when consuming or sharing said drugs.

The community is not perfect, and there's no way to not have personal drama or disputes in a community this large. But I try to keep in mind how important the work is that BL is involved in. I'm incredibly proud to be a part of the forum and to be able to contribute to it in the ways that I have, I do believe that everything I've done here has helped me grow as a person, and it's improved my ability to communicate with others and to resolve conflicts. I have a hard time fitting in with others in a group setting, but BL is one of the few places where I feel like I belong, and not like an outsider. As much as a website can be ones "home", Bluelight feels like my online home.

I have not been able to dedicate much time here recently, but I still greatly care about the site, and will make up for it by making some donations soon Love you all!

Thank you so much. I think it's mainly because most of our review are old!

 

Does the review have to be written or can it be toggled.

I went through a few pages and I just wonder if I should just write something instead.

The site definitely linked quickly ! Yes there is a lot going on.

I definitely read a lot of the good reviews. Is it required to post something

or is it just for the purpose of getting on to the link ? I mean I really enjoyed reading
