So I used the fucking search engine and couldn't come up with anything regarding the topic I am propositioning here.

What if we started a big thread "hall of fame" thread with names and pictures of people who have been big players in influencing the development of drugs, the users of them and the culture that surrounds it as it stands today. There would also be a brief description of what they did.

Eg: Albert Hofmann (insert picture), discovered the hallucinogenic properties of LSD.

If there is a concensus on doing this, then I'll edit the post and start the ball rolling.

I don't see anything in the guidelines against it. Just realize you might just be replicating something that's already available in many many other places. Try and post some obscure ones to make it interesting and avoid redundancy would be my only advice.

Don't forget Alexander "Sasha" Shulgin, Ph.D.%)

The good doctor has been nicknamed the Godfather of MDMA.

Also wrote PIKHAL and TIKHAL- Invented and published the synths for alot of
the RCs you all know and love.

He synthesized these drugs in lab in the backyard of his Lafayette, CA home.

Then tested them on himself and group of fellow psychonauts.

A true innovator, free thinker, and hero in the movement to expand conciousness.
