Hi guys!

Just tested up some new pills, and am hoping the results are good, the Mandelin went instantly to a dark blue then to black with the outside still staying a bit blue in some sections. The Marquis on the other hand was a slower reaction to purple, seemed only specks of the scraping changed colour?

Some input would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks in advance!

There are two possibilities I can suggest. Sometimes Mandelin reacts this way, producing a slight blue colour, often around the edges. Many suggestions have been offered in attempt to explain this. I believe it probably has to do with certain excipients used to make the tablets.

The other suggestion is that there's possibly some meth present. Mandelin can produce a blue (rather than green) with small amounts of meth.

Indications are there might be some MDMA present, but realise the kits are far from perfect. Lots of compounds produce similar colored products.

ambient temperatures affect chem reaction speeds

Ambient temperature and surface area affect the speed of the reaction. One time we were trying to test at an outdoor party in western Washington where the temperature was hovering around freezing, and the pill test reaction with the marquis kit took almost a minute.
