Hi guys,
I just signed up as this site looks pretty cool and I've got plenty of question in regards to the state of our recreational drugs that are getting around.

But first of all, I'm planning a trip to Stanley, Vic Australia tomoz to see if I can find some magic mushrooms. Does anybody have any tips in regards to where I can find them?

I've done my research as I dont wanna poison my friends however I've never gone hunting for them and would love to have a successful days hunting.

Any help would be appreciated.

Keep an eye out for this guy, his names Tookie. When I'm in Stanley he usually helps me out:

I wouldn't recommend trying to properly identify wild mushrooms if you don't already know how, it takes lots of research and hard work and it is extremely easy to falsely identify a species of mushroom.
 
On behalf of PD, I wanna say we're not comfortable with discussing mushroom hunting because it's not safe unless you have decent experience with determining the species. Check the mushroom hunting thread about why I am saying this and for some limited info others have given despite this policy that applied previously. At this point there is no unanymous rule against discussion of mushroom hunting but that has a different reason IMO.

Please read the Beginners FAQ to understand how you can find pre-existing threads on topics, it's explained there but basically the answer is: The Index and Advanced Search functionality.

Because you are new here I won't close this thread just yet but give you some time to respond. But for this particular subject I advise you to use The Shroomery, a different forum much better suited for specialized mushroom discussion.

On the other hand, here we have a very cozy social network in PD and you are very welcome here plus we have superior knowledge on the subject of synthetics, rare compounds and basically psychedelics in general. :) :)

chill out he isn't asking where he can buy drugs

he is asking where he can go pick mushrooms, ya know a living organism that grows all over this planet

im sure his is going to use them for spaghetti sauce or something
 
Meh. Be my guest and publish your favorite mushroom picking spot online for all to see. Personally, I wouldn't suggest you go around telling where you get your drugs, and if you do I sure as hell wouldn't go back there again, but these are "guidelines" after all, not "rules".
 
If I find Tookie I might hit him up for some gears as well.

Thanks for the responses. It looks as though this is a great forum with quite a lot of traffic so I plan to hang around.

As for giving up my sources (where to find Mushies) it's a very broad description that I gave and if it was enough to give anything away I wouldn't have felt the need to post in the first place. Its a big place with nothing but trees.

I didn't go out looking today however its definitely something I want to do so I'll visit the shroomery forum as advised but I plan to lurk around here too. The last thing I want to do is poison my friends and myself however I'm pretty confident I know what to look for.
 
Tookie has the best drugs ever. When you see him be sure to yell "what up Tookie my nigga!" so he knows you're cool.

Also, flip him the bird. That's the gang sign for his set.
 
OP, check the mushroom thread in the Australian section, heaps of info, & what ever you do DONT show Wookie your patch :)
 
Well until further notice, mushroom hunting threads are disallowed.

In post #6 I have said more about this, and one of the main things to conclude with is: please visit The Shroomery where they might have the proper answers for you, it's up to them there to consider whether it can be discussed safely, but here in PD we will not pretend like it can be done without putting yourself at risk. It is just too easy to give a false impression of safety by giving a few short tips on how to find wild mushrooms.

This is being discussed right now as a structural policy or rule.
