If it was even moderately factual i could stomach it but to me it is a cheap Carlito's Way. with Ridley Scott, Denzel, and Crowe I would have thought it would have a great storyline...showing him in his youth would have been fantastic. i did not find thee movie enjoyable because of the facts i just like the subject matter

That's Mr. Untouchable your talking about. He had some pretty BA stories.

Sometimes he'd know the cops were tailing him, but he didn't deal, his lieutenants did. So he'd fuck with them, start speeding up, flying around corners, make it so they have to run a red light if they want to follow him.
 
I just got some Blue Magic about two weeks ago.. It was a mixxed bun w/ this other new stamp (passion, which is supposed to be the new "Asian Pleasure" stamp) and I found it to be decent, but nothing extraordinary. I actually liked the passion a bit more. This was in the southern NJ area, too, if that makes a difference.

It's all relative to what you're used to though. I watched the American Gangster show (not movie) on A&E and they were saying that when Lucas' "Blue Magic" bags came around, people were dropping from OD's left, right and center....on just 10% pure heroin :\

I get what you're saying though as far as having to deal with injecting such impure product...those poor junkies back then must have really had some shitty health.
 
Lucas is from the Carolinas, I forget which one. I'm not sure where Barnes is originally from.

Baltimore has Melvin Williams, who is said to have "brought heroin to Baltimore." He played the deacon in The Wire.
