Shakin off the leaves;
these leaves of the starshine
that fall fast to the same star
that they just fell from.

Walking through shadow
cast shade by the sunlight
the Son of the morning
mourns some for the shimmer.

Overcast and cast adrift
here in the Chasm
the heart's cast of Oversouls
owing verse to Jehova

Stepping over bridges
that sancitfiy the passage
of pilgrims that pass over
and emerge from the past.​
