BLR's on FB

I don't have this rule but I could understand why some people would. I just look at it like I don't have anything to hide so it doesn't bother me. The Bluelight group I created on FB has just over 150 members so there's definitely a decent amount of "open" bluelighters on Facebook.
 
i havent encountered any problems with it. although when i added pharcyde to facebook i sent him a message that my family is on there too, he told me that everyone has this talk with him right after adding him lol. if someone were to actually post something untoward on fb i would just delete it and maybe message them. i also have it set up so that its damn near impossible to find me and see my posts unless you are a friend, but im paranoid like that.
 
hahahaha I never requested it of Pharcyde but he is very mindful when it comes to our fb banter on my wall. I might be dirtier than he is on there.
 
I love having my BL friends on FB. In fact most of my IRL friends I met on BL. And it is a way to get to know them better. I guess I just never thought that I would have to filter people. I mean shit on my facebook I am link to my business that gives my phone number. All these years I have never had an issue until a few days ago. I guess my judgement is slipping in my old age.
 
I have BL friends on facebook, its my family & co workers that are not my facebook friends :)

I see them IRL!

I have a fair few friends on facebook that originated as friendships on here. In saying that, the people that i'm friends with on facebook are people that i have made genuine friendships with on the board, and friendships that I really value - it's why i love having those people as facebook friends - They may live in another country or state, but facebook allows an insight into their every day lives that i wouldn't otherwise have. :)

As for bluelight stuff on facebook - the friends i've made from here have never posted anything suspicious on facebook; occasionally there might be a reference to 'Bl" but that's ok - only bluelighters would get that.

I have a heap of family on facebook - both mine and now my in-laws - so if anything dodgy appears, i just delete it. I'd rather my family have access (most of my family lives interstate or overseas) and filter what is posted on my profile. I also have a custom filter for certain wall posts I make, which i use occasionally.

It may sound like a lot of work, but facebook allows me to keep in daily contact with a lot of people that I love dearly, so the trade-off is definitely worth it <3

This. I could see myself adding several mods though, as long as they swear not to mention BL in any way on my page :P

It's not that I'm ashamed of what I write here but I do worry that some of it might affect my husband's career (since a lot of it is based on what others think whether we like it or not). I keep it no secret that I was very bad on drugs for quite a while so anyone who knows me well knows about it, but STILL...

Sometimes I even think about going through BL and deleting any posts I've made that are too personal regarding drug use and whatnot, even when I've been sober for three years (what a pain in the ass that would be though!). It's a romantic notion to think that people would be able to understand that I'm a different person now but people are judgmental idiots so yeah, this is something that definitely makes me paranoid =/

I also think about deleting my personal photos from time to time but I truly enjoy putting faces to names so... Who knows.
 
i don't follow this rule. but then again, i don't talk about drugs on bl, let alone on fb. i'd have nothing to talk about on that subject anyway.

i've had certain people untag themselves from my bl comics, but that enitrely up to them and fine with me.

i don't even have non BL friends on FB yet, but i might at some point. so what happens on BL stays on BL.

I don't even know who half the people on my Facebook from BL are. I can never keep track of what real peoples' BL handles are and vice versa.
 
I always think it's funny when BL friends and IRL friends start arguing on my wall. It's never about anything serious, it's all just entertainment.
 
I make a rule to only add people that id actually talk to on my FB. I also don't have any family members on my FB or anyone from my area cause shit gets round way too easy here. Everyone else i know from my area has everyone in this area added on their FB so it's nothing but a goddamn gossip club so fuck dat :p
