Ok, I'll be the sick fuck. I have tried a Fleshlight and I have had sex with a RealDoll...
The fleshlight was too horrid to be mentioned but the RealDoll.
It's worth the cash. However, I can imagine it takes a little getting used to.

On a different note, one good thing about being located in New Zealand is that you are much closer to Japan.

ok! if i had the money i might invest in on of these things but what concerns me most is where the fuck do you keep it?

i saw a special on HBO a few years back with a segment on the 'ultimate' sex doll.......each one costs something like $5,000 and is supposedly just as real ( in terms of feeling ) as being with another person.......each doll is specially made for it's owner ( though the range of personalization is slightly limited )......there were interviews with a lesbian couple that had a male one, a girl that got one for her boyfriend for his birthday so he could live out his threesome fantasy, and a photographer that used his as a model ( and for oral sex 'sometimes' ).....to end the show, the people that made the dolls ( i think it was a group of like 7 people ) were developing all sorts of additions for newer models, so there is no telling what the dolls are like now or if they are even still in production........even though there were this varied group of people talking about how great the dolls were, i'm not sure if i could use one......

wow, I found the RealDoll link real interesting! They even made a MALE one? lol. I was reading all the additional parts you can buy. Brain Oblivion your the sex-doll god, haha. I never knew they could look so sexy. But still, like Morrison's Lament said, it would be pretty disgusting to wake up from your fantasy sweaty and panting to a dead thing that doesn't move. I always imagined people who buy blow up dolls are bald 40-year-olds who can't get laid...well, I guess there could be doll collectors too! I also noticed on that board that a lot of these guys talk about their dolls like they are alive, dress them up to take pictures and have tea parties and such... Their supposed to be working on a second male model. From what I understand it will have interchangeable faces (different expressions, races, etc.).
Regarding their being inanimate, that's true. These dolls are not like a human. But the people that own them claim that beyond that, you can not tell that they are not real. There is a company in Germany that produces similar dolls, but they also offer mechanical animation (breathing, body movements, internal organs, etc.). But I don't want to post too many photos on one forum page. So I'll wait until this gets to page 3, that is if anyone is interested.

Since you are in Berlin you shouldn't have any problem attending if you can get tickets. They are introducing some new products and you'll be able see them all up close.
