In my head less and less.
I blew out a big vein on my arm last year. The one on the back of your forearm. Most people have it. I knew it was blown because it went numb for the rest of the night.

Now, my arm falls asleep ALL the time. All I have to do is have it lifted up in any way, and it falls asleep. Will this ever stop, or will it be like this for the rest of my life?

Numbness is more related to a problem with the nerves than veins (or can be a problem with blood supply, but veins carry blood away rather than to the tissues) - other signs of nerve irritaton/damage/compression etc are tingling/burning (paraesthesia) and weakness. I'd definitely get it checked out by a doctor.

A vein blowing wouldn't be expected to cause that, unless it irritated a nerve in the process.

^ thank u! very helpful! :)

I can see it and feel it. It was only numb that night. Someone just said it was prolly blown, but I dont know for sure. It is barely visible, and before, it was thick and stuck out real far. I dont feel any circulation going thru it.
