Blowmonkeys backyard bushes '06

So you expect the shorter one to be female, but couldn't it just be a phenotype which shows more indica caracteristics?

Hmm I kept thinking you ment powerplant with PP.. I figured that wouldn't grow outside too well 8)

definately looking real good

what kinda lights you got them under?

an opinion...i wouldnt grow any inside unless as sort of a pet. the sun is the best grow light out there. you also wouldnt have a height restriction (assuming you do indoors)

I never said that? The purple powers are probably more likely to be females though, since they all came out of feminized seeds.

400 watt HPS. Yes, sunlight is the best light to grow under. But in Holland we don't exactly have the greatest weather, so growing inside definitely produces the better buds. These are going outside though, I'm just giving them a head start by starting them inside.

Whoops, looks like I totally misred "1-4: 2 PP's, left is a female, the other I'm still not sure of. Left has slender leaves and right nice broad leaves, also a shorter, indica stature." sorry for that 8)

What are your typical yields for outdoor? And is it easy to get dense buds?

Aren't dense buds largely due to genetics?

I recently harvested Widow and some Skunk variety, both were given the exact same treatment throughtout their life, both were planted within a couple of metres to eachother so they got equal sunlight. The Widow buds are considerably more dense than the Skunk buds, likely attributed to their Indica inclination.

^^ Be carefull! Don't present your pics with out 2nd thought. unless u live in a place where its ok to grow weed.

LOL. Don't be scared to post a couple of pics of plants, even if you live in America. What are the odds of your local law enforcement hunting down the internet for marijuana growers in the neighbourhood? Slim to none. If you post pics of a couple of plants you have nothing to be scared of. Potheads are sometimes so paranoid..

There's no typical yield, it depends on the weather. If everything goes perfect I could be able to harvest up to half a kilo per plant, but that's if everything goes perfect, which it obviously won't. And yes, it's pretty hard to get dense buds outdoors overhere, dense buds grow mould so quick that you can loose an entire plant in a week of bad weather. For example, the WW's I had last year only produced a couple of grams.

Little update. I've moved 4 plants outside already, the two male OB's and 2 PP's. I've left the best plants inside, together with the seeds I started later. 4 of the PP's were in desperate need of re-potting already, so I placed them into 12 litre pots. They've gotten a small dose of all-round bio stimulator and some root stims for a little boost, the first set of lower leaves were starting to yellow a bit already. For the rest they're going just fine, I keep having to move the light up, the bigger ones grow at least a cm or 2 each day, they're hitting the 75 cm's already.

I just moved all the plants outside because it's great weather around here, before I took several of the plants outside, here's some pics of the ones that were already in the backyard. They've grown quite a bit, some are a metre tall already, most of them have been transplanted into 12 litre pots. Really not much more to say. The only changes I've noticed so far are 2 plants with female pre-flowers (the PP I had already identified & one of the OB's from pheno #2, the seeds I started later on), the rest I'm still not sure of, so I've taken some cuttings to sex those. 3 plants are the weirdest ever, they're growing branches in the armpits of the regular side-branches, so weird.. I thought they were males at first, but they're just a bunch of freakish mutants. Anyways, enough talking, here's some pics:
