Bloodshed in Gaza: "It's a hell of a pinpoint operation"

One would think the jews would have learned their lesson in the gas chambers and work camps, at least those who got out alive. The lesson being not to treat people that way, yet they are doing exactly as hitler did, mass murder and forcing the enemies of the illegitimate israeli state into ghettos (I.e the palestinians)

And then the jews go and act all surprised when it turns out they have bred generation after generation of implacable enemies who wish to see the lot of them exterminated. If they had shelled my home, slaughtered my family, then no shit, I'd be making some chemical weapons, and rockets to deliver same to go and launch over the england/israeli border, and I certainly wouldn't be all that likely to present the israelis as lovely, kind, gentle, peace-loving people to my kids if I had any either *snip*

The thinking from the current hard right wingers in government in Israel seems to be "Well, we're not rounding the palestinians up by the millions and gassing them so we're treating them relatively well".

Folk need to be careful about conflating Israeli people with Israeli government though. The government believe in this shit despite knowing better, the people for the most part either believe in it because they don't know better (propagandised to fuck from birth) or they don't believe in it at all.

its really is fascinating how people think their are rules when it comes to war. Oh you cant bomb that, but you can bomb this. Or you violated rules number 24 paragraph five that says you cant kill civilians or that you cant take out civilian necessities like water and sewer facilities. There are documents too i guess that state certain "rules" in regard to human rights? Human rights cease in war. Why would people think the contrary.

There is nothing that i could read about that would shock me when it comes to activities done by nations during war.

The word "war" gets used way too much in my opinion. It can be used to describe competitions or used for media advertisements as a descriptive word for contests but if you really look at what goes into the word "war" its really a horrible act that is connected with death, raping, torturing, mayhem, and destruction of people. Something that should not be so easily tossed around.

Its war, and their are no rules. Never has been and never will. The only rule is to do whatever it takes to achieve "victory". Their is no sympathy or empathy from individuals in war. Their is no forgiveness or understanding or compassion. If their is, those peoples time is short for they lack what it takes. That is something that wont ever be a part of war. Its the most ruthless one can be that is gonna prevail. I would think that killing innocents would be encouraged more then killing soldiers. Think about what would be more effective? Killing the soldier or killing the family of the soldier? So while it is sad and not right and horrible that women, children, innocent civilians are dying, that is part of war.

That's a mile out. Yes, atrocities are an inevitable part of war but not to the extent that you're advocating. Say your country goes to war & your armies rape every woman, chop the legs or arms off every child they come across. Poke the eyes out of grannies heads. That's all ok because... war?

Armies go to war, civilians exist in the lands where the war is being fought, the armies don't need to annihilate the civilians they just need to defeat the other army. If they do start indiscriminately annihilating civilians then they create a whole new problem, eg Iraq. Killing the soldier is much more effective than killing the soldiers family. Kill the family and the soldier can still fight, kill the family and other family members/friends will be willing to fight.

Israel would likely find a lot less people willing to fire rockets at it if it specifically killed/arrested known Hamas fighters rather than just blowing everyone up.

Certainly^

It was on the news today that the jews had bombed a clinic in gaza, and apparently phoned ahead to order people out of it.

Likewise with a university, although I don't know if the israeli side gave a warning or not in that case.
What the point is of targeting civilian wounded is, if it isn't a deliberate attempt to ferment rage amonst the population of gaza and stir up sufficient enmity to use as a so-called justification of further military action I don't know what the point could be.

its really is fascinating how people think their are rules when it comes to war [...] Its war, and their are no rules. Never has been and never will...

But there are supposed to be rules in war; the geneva convention, nuremberg, international law, UN etc. Not to mention rules of engagement

It just feels like there are no rules when it's us or our pals doing it cos we totally ignore our own crimes and use the hague to prosecute inconvenient (mostly) black people (or in the micro version, ignore israel's acknowledged war crimes, but bang on about hamas')

Kill the soldier though and his brother or son will take his place.

Any death is wrong, whether it is someone who signed up to fight or someone who is bullied into hiding weapons for the military under their school or hospital.

Obviously the biggest blunder the world made was thinking that three different religions could share jeruselum. Sure they all preach love thy neighbour but really?

The Jews after ww2 should have been given Alaska.

The biggest blunder the world ever made was when it went "Is that right, aye?" when the first cunt starting spraffing nonsense about burning bushes or ten commandments instead of coming out with the rational response "Bullshit! Fuck off!

The fact that a lot of this shit goes on because one set of stupid cunts believe some fucking ridiculous stories and another set of stupid cunts believe in some different, equally ridiculous, stories is fucking bizarre. I mean, I know I'm far from the most intelligent person in the world yet I can see all that bullshit for what it is, so what the fuck is wrong with all these people?

(just went on a general rant there, I know religion is pretty much fuck all to do with the Israel/Palestine thing)

PTCH must you really swear n talk in such a hostile manner? Just because you don't believe does not mean it's nonsense. And using such foul language makes you appear unapproachable n hostile. Why not try putting your point across in a more dignified manner?

Evey

It is nonsense

No sense. religion makes no logical sense does it evey. have a think

Some great posts and links on this thread.
When, oh when is the world going to stop the never ending Israeli aggression. It seems they can't go more than a couple of years without killing and bombing indiscriminatly. As soon as them 3 jew kids were killed , Zionist high command were rubbing their hands with glee. Any old excuse to kill.( and exactly how innocent are them 3 settler youngsters).
It's a cull going on.
Keep the faith and spread the word about what's happening
