Opioids Blood in Syringe

hopefully im in the right section. How long can blood be in the syringe before i should throw it out. I no i cant leave it for hours or anything like that. Sometimes i get blood in the needle but still miss and i start to panic casue im afraid of it clotting and wasting my shot, so i start poking away.

Is my reaction to hurry up, justified? or do i have a decent amount of time before it becomes unusable?

5 mins 10 at the absolute most..

instead of taking it out and trying again
either push it a little deeper or pull it back.. depending on how deep the needle was when you registered, if the vein is still in a decent condition you should reregister straight away..

if you're veins are just plain fucked i suggest slowing down and using a less fucked up one also letting it heal.

i don't even mess with that i let the blood pool up near the tip of the needle when upside down and pour the little bit of blood out and try to register in a different vein

Once you get blood in a syringe, it'll clot pretty quickly. 5 minutes is a good estimate.
