blood in nose from smoking heroin?

since i started smoking H a few months ago my nose has became very sensitive, occasionally il get a patch of skin up there that is very raw and it tends to bleed slightly if i touch it or blow my nose.

also there seems to be a strange smell a lot of the time from within my nose, i want to know if any of you who have smoked gear in the past have ever had this?because im quite concerned after hearing horror stories about flesh eating virus' attacking the sinus after catching infection from drugs. (both blood and a strange smell were noted in these stories)

i havnt had any gear for three days now so im hoping it will go away soon? i dont know i look forward to hearing some replies

Unless you are scratching your nose because of the opiate itch smoking heroin (or anything else) shouldn't be causing nosebleeds. If this has been going on for awhile definately see a Dr.

It could be something to do with the Histamine release that Opiates give, but other than that I cannot see why you would have this happen to you
Personally, I agree with Squirrel - See yer Dr. about it.
