This was my personal fave

I had the need to buy my son a suit. He's dislikes shopping areas as much as me so we decided to shop on-line. All good so far. We found the suit at the right price and I pulled out my plastic.

However, the store would not allow me to buy anything unless I joined up with them (pointless since Ill never be going back there) and I had to fill out a long form with my name, address, phone, email, date of birth (!) etc.

The problem was, once Id done that and clicked the Checkout button, I had to fill it all in again! I did it, because we needed the suit, but I wasn't too happy about it. I mean, I know how easy it is to access a MySQL database via PHP (which is what the site was running on), so I know they could easily have pulled the info I just entered.

Anyway, I made sure that the order had gone through and then emailed their head office explaining why their store was the last one I would be using on the internet. Iv yet to get a reply!

I mean really, why the fuck bother writing that?

There was a hilarious email doing the rounds a while ago about a guy who tried to pay a bill with a drawing of a spider. Then I read an article about the guy in the news because he circulated a fake thingo supposedly written by a McDonald's employee about a huge conspiracy to save money by leaving items out of drive through orders.

Then I discovered that the guy has a website and documents all his various web pranks and musings, all of which are completely hilarious. David Thorne:
