Opioids Blocking effects of Methadone/Missing your weekend dose(Sat and Sun)

I missed my weekend dose of methadone because I was 3 minutes late. I got real upset about that as you could all imagine for who have been there.

I spent the day Saturday wasting opana er's. I slammed 2.5 40mgs. Didn't feel that much. Then did 3 more 40mg er's on Sunday and felt it a lot more but not the full rush/high. *Anyone else try anything like that? I took my dose today at around 7am today(Monday). I was just wondering a few things about the blocking effect methadone creates after being on a certain dose(60+ I believe) for a certain amount of days.

I had no idea methadone could fully block the effects of other opiates pretty much. How long would one have to wait to feel pretty much the full effects of other opiates? And are there any certain opiates that could break through the blocking, ones that might have a higher affinity(besides bupe)?

I'm just curious for the future and have had other people ask me the same questions. Plus I am not feeling much of my dose today and I can get my hands on some ABG's?

Slamming Hydromorph isnt very effective, I can barley snort them without it clogging me , Methadone is a long half-life full agionist. Your last dose was Friday? Id say the blockaid on your reciptors is almost done, Please be careful I hope you smooth things over with your methadone place, Try Krantnom for a hold over? That methadone aint all the way out of you yet.

I hope you have some of them filters for shooting non ampule opiates. They say it collects in your heart valves and your lungs talc/celulos.

Get you some nalaxone/narcane eat it that will fix that blockade. take some good krantnom and clonidine and a few klonopin after your done shitting and twitching. Then.. PROFIT noes dope sicks and chasing the crimson BD barrel o fun.

First of all he was not slamming hydromorphone he was slamming oxymorphone and oxymorphone is one of the stronger opiates that I would think would break through methadone. I know that OM is in some ways close to fent on a dose by dose basis and I know fent was able to break through methadone at a 75+mg dose.

Second I would be interested to know how the OP was IV’ing Opana ER. If the OP truly was able to IV 100mg of oxymorphone I really do not understand how it was not felt as I was able to feel 20mg of oxymorphone while at 60mg of methadone. I was using the IR’s and I have to add here that as far as I am aware there is no safe way to bang the ER’s.

To answer the OP’s question. It really depends on the dose you are on and the length of time you have been on that dose. Like I said I was able to feel Fent in the hospital when on a 75+mg dose and once I went below 60mg a few bags of really good dope was able to break through. The problem you have is that this is very dangerous and you are more likely to overdose when trying to break through methadone.

If you want to do other drugs get off the done and switch to bupe. Not the best advice when it comes to HR but it’s the truth.

The way I banged the OM ER's those two days(I've done it this way a few times and it is by far the strongest rush I have ever felt from OM ER) is I just added 50ml of pure ethanol to the crushed up OM in one spoon, drew it up, added around 70ml of water in the rig because being pure ethanol some evaporated real quick, then shot it out in another spoon, then just filtered/drew that one last time, and shot it. This way I burn none of the OM off.

I am a lab assistant at a chemistry department and have access to pure ethanol. Another worker who is way more experienced than I am showed me this method. I do not recommend to anyone to inject pure ethanol as I know how stupid it as but as I have said I have used this method only maybe 10 times which isn't that much to the amount of times I have banged OM.

And when I said 2.5, I didn't mean in one rig. My bad for the misunderstanding. I just had 40mg in the first shot. And didn't even feel a rush really to be honest. Just a little high. And I mean little.

Yea, sounds like you at least kind of knew what you were doing.

I do have to say when I was able to break through my methadone the rush was always diminished to non existent. That is what makes dosing on top of you done so dangerous. We expect/associate the rush with the high and when we don’t get the rush we think we are not feeling the high, when in reality it can be very hard to tell your high when your used to being on done 24/7.
