BL'ers on intervention

^^Yeah! She was sent to a badass rehab, everything was paid for. she left after a few weeks there. It was really sad. Last time I saw her was at a N.A. meeting awhile ago, havn't seen her since.

I was at motor vehicle getting my L's restored and met Anthony, the kid who shot cocaine and was on the meth clinic, from brick nj, who worked at his brothers pizza place. I recognized him, I was goin to ask him if he wanted to get high with me, as right from there I was going to cop, but he said he was doin pretty good. He said he didn't get any money, but that intervention pays for the rehab your whole stay, and any after care you may do (sober living, half way houses, etc). Also, about two years ago I went to rehab in Flordia, and I went to this place called the Palm Beach Institute. They claimed they had a detox but really didn't so I left after two days and went to Sunrise Detox, and than Recovery Resources (Chuckie from Intervention, the singers son, went there a few months before me). Also, when I got home, I recognized the dude from True Life, the one who was hooked on Meth, and was gay, he was at the Palm Beach Institute the two days I was there.

I love Intervention, even though I like the first few seasons best. But yeah, I love getting high as fuck and watching it lol...

Naked fightin methheads ftw. Christy is my fav intervention too, maybe second to the inhalant chick.

I believe there has been someone from BL on Intervention before, but I don't know exactly who it was (there was a thread like this a couple years ago I remember posting in).

Anyway, yeah the episode on the oxy addict who IVed it a shit load of times a day, that's probably one of my favorites... and yeah the one with the alcoholic girl who lived in a REAL messy place and in the episode she was naked and falling all over the place. I forget her name though, that girl was crazy though.

haha fuck that christy girl sticks out in my mind too. She was nuts, I really felt sorry for her watching that.

I have gotten a chance to see the show since coming back to the US...

I hate the show, to me it symbolises everything that is rancid about America and the West in general. Manipulative histronics. Having some jagof* tell your family, your wife and kids what to do, what to say is vile; "Tell her you will never let her see your son." "Tell him he is out on the street if he does not agree." "Tell her you will no longer be her daughter."

In my life I have been in some amazing situations that have required immsense self discipline and self control but when I watch that manipulative bullshi* I feel like pistol whipping those "Counselors."

I watched some of the 1st shows, and the addicts apparently believed that they were participating in documentaries meant to teach younger kids about the horrors associated with addiction. To then see people like that homeless kid with a long beard, who mainlined Tar, crying about his dad going down on him...and then to see that mother fuc*ing "Counselor" control his sister, making her threaten to go to the police with addresses of his dealers? I wanted to do an Elvis on the telly.

I understand that "Reality Shows" are the "in" thing these days. They are insidious though. I see them in Israel, see them in the Philippines...They even have a cable channel on Mindanao, from Australia called "Tru TV." I equate that garbage with "Bread and Circus" bait and switch.

In ancient Rome they would hold Gladiator Games and things like Circus Maximus simply to keep people from overthrowing the system and as we see in the West, it works perfectly.

I do not find emotional manipulation entertaining or attractive.

You can talk directly to Intervention stars/families on the A&E website. I recently bitched out the sisters of that girl Brooke from Oklahoma who was addicted to pain meds and had Lyme Disease/RA. They are such BITCHES!!!

This was one of the episodes I haven't seen yet so I just watched it. I can not believe her sisters are so mean and jealous. They were mad that when she got sick all the attention went to her, well dah! They didn't invite her to their wedding. I want to smack their pig looking faces! I wonder how they would be in her shoes. They think they are so much better. People stricken with these conditions often get addicted to their meds cuz they are in pain and need them. It's normal and happens to millions of people. These piglet faced bitches need to get off their high horses.

according to intervention rob cypher is a potential genius, IQ of 170. I wouldn't know it by reading his posts fo sure.

And why the hell do they spell out their names in the beginning? What is the purpose of it, it looks dumb and ridiculous.
