Since this topic has been resurrected I may as well add to it (maybe it has something to do with the fact that I'm still scattered from NYE...)
I guess I've been pretty lucky in my bluelight travels over the last 2 years and met a lot a great people. Many of which I didn't really set out to meet or become friends with, I think it just kinda works out that way. I recently spent 18 months in LA, none of which would have been nearly as good if it weren't for the bluelighters that I met and became friends with - some of which were:
ashke&loupy - they came to my NYE party last year (along with about 30 other SoCal bl's). You are right blue kitten, she really is amazing. They are both still around, but I don't think they check into bl much these days. Come to think of it a lot of the people I know sort of drifted away, as some would understand. In fact look what I just found

loupy explains it much better himself

writnpage&extremenik - went to a bbq at their house totally by accident - they took me in and made me feel at home.
applesbliss - again by accident he finished up living with me for 5 months, and now he's over here travelling - bizarre
spencer&pixiegirl - spence and I made friends while we were both floating around the pool with pixie feeding us k bumps each time we reached the edge
liquidocean - hope he travels down under one day, great guy to meet.
I've met a few of my fellow aussies now that I wanted to meet - johnboy, mona & miss apple (finally) - though since I'm moving up to Sydney this weekend yet again I guess that's all the melb. bl's I'll get to meet for now. I know this is supposed to be about the bluelighters I _want_ to meet not those I've met - but I guess the point is I think it's better to not to try and make things work and just see who you relate to.
But if I had to name a few more that I haven't met: icfml, Tars, Voodoo gurl, BigTrancer, Pinger, black magic woman...that'll do for now.
cheers,
hux.
