Opioids bladder pain

This bladder damage I have is permanent and I’ve dealt with it for like 8 years due to whatever the fuck Kratom was doing on top of the damage ketamine did

I’m telling you though kratom is the 2nd most painful drug I can take for my bladder after ketamine it is complete poison for the bladder if your bladder is compromised.

And yes regular opioids also irritate the bladder a little bit but kratom is straight bladder poison ime

I remember ignoring it and making all kinds of excuses when Kratom was causing me pain and it got worse and worse until my bladder was permanently fucked. You need to stop kratom immediately.

I would switch to an interstitial cystitis diet for a while also and see if that helps.

Thank you for your reply and letting me know. Sorry to hear you had serious bladder issues with kratom. That sounds very unpleasant and serious. I have stopped the kratom for now but have a bit left. I am going to use it for when I stop the tapendatol and just take it once a day in the morning. I have clonidine and other meds like Lyrica and Valium for night time. The tapendatol alone is still causing it a bit but the issue is a bit less so I think I am getting used to it. I am finding some unpleasant effects with itching and feeling weirdly dizzy when taking it. I feel like the weird dizzy thing is because of the SSRI (or SNRI) activity as it reminds me a bit of the zaps you get when you stop taking an SSRI antidepressant. I need to stop this crap. I only have about 30 left so they will run out eventually anyway. I need to try to at least taper off it so it won't be such a shock when I do run out.

I won't buy any more kratom also when it runs out. I actually can't afford to buy anything any more as I have to get $4 000 worth of teeth fillings and I am poor.

Honestly I wouldn’t risk a single other dose. You could just be having bladder dysfunction…but if you are damaging the bladder wall which we have no idea if Kratom and all of the poison in it as shown by the FDA causes bladder wall damage…that is irreversible and will change your life forever.

The symptoms are the same for both scenarios so it’s hard to tell which bucket you’re falling into.

I could see tapentadol being problematic moreso than classical opioids for the bladder. It’s caustic as all hell and it has stimulant like activity also and stims are a bad idea with bladder issues also.



But with my compromised sensitive bladder you couldn’t pay me thousands to take a single dose of Kratom. I’d take this seriously.

Thank you for your reply and good advice. There is definitely something caustic about it as I also now have a horrible itchy/red rash all over my body which is getting worse. My appetite has gone which is not usual for me (I overeat usually) and things taste weird or just bland.
 
I was wondering if that injection that lasts 30 days (for opioid addiction) might help me if I ask my doctor about it. Even just one month of it to get off this stuff.

The skin rash sounds like histamine reaction which is common in many ppl that use opioids. If you take an antihistamine like Benadryl does it prevent it?

Thank you for your reply. I am less itchy when I take a dose of promethazine so there is definitely a histamine itch. I didn't realise it could lead to a scaly rash as well (that hangs around) but it makes sense and probably is from that.
 
My doctor (or the practice) texted me yesterday afternoon to say he won't be in next Tuesday and cancelled the appointment so I am screwed still. I have to draw strength from within to quit this stuff as it sounds like I can't get help.
 
Will I be in trouble if I tell a doctor what i have been doing with taking things I bought online that i shouldn't have?

Absolutely you will be kicked out and never scripted anything again no matter how bad you need it.

You need piss with only your prescribed drugs and metabolites in it and submit that for your drug test at the doctor.

Weed or kratom in your piss and that doctor is done with you

Okay I hear you. I feel like I've done something bad though so I might have to come clean. Like serious damage or addiction or both.
 
Just an update with me. I had a phone appointment with my GP just over a week ago after emailing him and saying I was taking meds I bought online and I was worried. I was worried I was overdosing or doing damage to my body. So he was good about it and said to not ever think I can't tell him something. He knows I struggle and he also said I had been doing well. He prescribed palexia 200mg which is the medication I was taking (not that brand but same ingredient). I take it twice a day and it struggles to keep me comfortable towards the end of one pill wearing off. I was taking 600mg a day when I had my tapentadol and so I am now back to 400mg a day. I only have a weeks worth and I was delayed in starting it before our next appointment as I couldn't stop taking my bought stuff. Like my addict brain wouldn't throw it out. So I am on day 2 now with the palexia and I had a follow up phone appointment with him yesterday. I have another in a week's time. He only works 2 days a week so if I struggle it's going to be tough. He did say if it doesn't work to go to the local hospital emergency. The day I took my last ordered tapentadol I stretched out taking it to taking the prescribed stuff and I was getting awful cramps in one calf that has been injured before. I am not looking forward to the cramps if and when I am off this.

He also said if this isn't enough then the other option is methadone, suboxone or the pain patches I was on (norspan). I just want to be free and off everything but my brain just wants to die without anything. I also have some kratom which I might use if things get too tough.
