Misc Black Seed Oil is AMAZING

Is this stuff too harsh to take on an empty stomach?

Cause I do a lot of intermittent fasting, and it sounds like it's already hard on the stomach as is.

Not that I couldn't eat if i took it if I wanted to, but most days I go many hours without eating as it helps me keep weight off and has become part of my lifestyle.

You should take it with food yea, but it doesn't have to be something heavy. The first time I took it empty stomach I had horrible cramps. Then I grabbed a twix at the end of my shift, ate half of it and instantly the stomach ache went away.

I got this stuff to bring my kratom tolerance down. I did not expect it to be such a potent mood stabalizer. I feel so calm, clear, no anxiety. It's just incredible. How is this even possible? Like I just can't believe it at all. I've been put on like every anti-depressant ever and I could've just been taking this? I'm ditching my prozac real soon, this is the shit. I've never done MDMA but I imagine this feels like it to an extent. I just wanna hug everyone. I'm in such disbelief that it's put me in such a good mood after such an awful day.

The burps taste like motor oil tho lol. Only downside I guess, but I can live with that. I took 1g this evening before dinner in gelcaps, but I think when I took it in pure oil the other day with some honey I didn't have this happen. The gelcaps seem a lot more potent. I once had seeded capsules but they weren't very potent, or probably had a low content of thymoquinone, the main component for these effects. I think an extract from *no sourcing please* would probably be ideal

If you suffer from anxiety, depression, ptsd, ocd, seriously try this. I'm not spouting naturopathic bullshit. This stuff is legit. Mileage of course can vary. Some people respond very well to things like L-theanine. There's just so many supplements out there, but BSO seems to have the most hype around it. But due to it's strong tie to Islamic culture and the belief from Muhammed that it cures "all diseases but death" it's easy to go into it skeptical, as I was. Lots of people on reddit seem to have similar effects, it like changed their life.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place btw, wasn't sure where to put it. It's not exactly a drug, but a substance.
Yeah, it definitely helped with my opioid problem in the past, especially heroin/fentanyl, it was certainly useful and likely life saving in a truly miserable opiate withdrawal.

And yeah, even if it's supplements or nootropics, try and avoid directly naming any kind of source that people use online or whatever when you're here please.

Why did you chime in if you had absolutely nothing to add to the conversation?
I chimed in because OP is talking about this stuff like it's giving him the same effect as a pharmaceutical drug

What about eating the seeds directly?
edit: Nevermind, I was able to find the oil.

I poured about 10mL in my mouth, then I ate it. yummy. Let's see if it helps with opi withdrawal...

P.S. What dosage of oil should I take?

Tried black seed oil recently and it seems to work great. I say seems as I can’t be 100% sure how effective it is as I also made many improvements toward my health and well-being. I’ll update when it becomes more clear how really effective it is.

Anybody having experiences with taking black seed oil alone, without an opioid like kratom? Does it exhibit noticeable effects and how much would I have to take? Sounds like something I have to try but my last attempts with supplements (levodopa, rhodiola rosea, even kratom) sucked really.

I tired it like that too and I’m not sure, not exactly noticeable effects (maybe increased pain relief whit non-opiod medicine or even from oil itself) in sense of any high but in a sense of some slight increase in mood and such things, possibly. It seems it affects dreams too, like some noted. That’s my experience so far.

I say go for it, nothing to lose and possibly much to gain with this one.

The first times I took it on nothing it was incredible, like I could not even believe I was experiencing such profoundly euphoric, focused well-being type effects from just this. The very first I bought it at Walmart just expecting to reduce kratom tolerance, and within 2 hours I felt better than I may have ever felt in my life. You do gain a tolerance to this, I haven't had any in a little while (ended up getting a pure thymoquinone powder). The oils are naturally dosed very high, 5g per dose. The 2nd time I had a similar effect like when I made this thread I'd only taken 1g in the form of oil filled gelcaps. Well, actually I'd taken some of the oil before bed which happened to be at like 7am because my sleep schedule was pretty messed up, and then I found those gelcaps of oil at my local hippie herb and vitamin shop and took them in the evening. I previously had gotten capsules with just the seeds in them which I kind of enjoyed more, no motor oil tasting burps although you do kind of get used to them/they go away, some people even like it and use black seed oil as a salad dressing.

I think the actual oil seemed more effective but I read something about how it can be bad on gut biome. I also didn't start using the powder until I'd already been using the oil for a little while. It's been quite awhile though and I've been meaning to try the powder again, I just keep forgetting to get Gatorade or some kinda juice. I'd always make pitchers of Koolaid in the summer and warm it for like 30-40 seconds. It's Nootropics Depot's brand and the shit is so bitter that if you even sniff it you will feel like you snorted wasabi. They do have capsules, but the powder was cheaper. Even in the juice, you need like milk to chase it down. Great stuff though, I'd developed IBS-C which I'd had for like 6 months and have been in complete remission even since no longer taking it.

I tried only 1g at once and 3g max during whole day because of possible interactions and as I usually found up to 2 - 3g quoted as safe dose but haven’t explored that enough yet. I might try 5g at once without anything in coming days.

Yeah I took some today. I usually only take it if I'm hurting a bit. And it's been a while. But I could immediately tell the difference, as I was struck with a general good feeling physically.

Here’s my experience -

Yesterday I ate 5g of oil followed and 2 more trough day. I can’t say I felt high. Well I felt high compared to mint, sage, chamomile or something but not compared to even blue lotus. So there’s no talk about that in my case but I did feel some (side)effects more than with any dose of blue lotus, drank or smoked and I’m talking about some kind of heavy/burning feeling in eyes, nothing worrying and kinda like getting high on stuff that isn’t really good idea to get high can feel. I’m not sure but my throat seemed to be little dry too. I also felt a bit dizzy/lightheaded. Hugely positive effect I did experience was smiling more and feeling physical pleasure from art. But that happened after I took light dose of opiod.

Really good thing with this stuff is, I think, it’s very anti-inflammatory or at least significantly increasing anti-inflammatory action of other substances.

Also, when I woke up, usual pain I feel since the moment I wake up didn’t occurred immediately.

I’m still far from final opinion about this (hard to judge because of other supplements and some medicine) but I’m tankful I discovered it. Cool stuff 100%!

I bought a big ass bottle of gel caps..I popped a few on top of some oxy and didn't notice a difference..I will definitely try it alone and try it in withdrawal and report back!

I need to break out my bottle of oil. Hopefully it doesn't expire.

The one thing I never liked about the oil is the taste. Even using a chaser the taste seems to linger for several hours and isn't very pleasant.
