A savage burning in my chest
A tightness right across my breast
A future difficult to see

A hatred of him touching you
A brittle insecurity

A listless body stunted mind
A ghostly image left behind
A life in tatters endlessly

Pretty obvious what this one is about. Suffering real heart break at the moment. Its a shame my best poetry is born through intense suffering and sadness.
Still, time heals all-I'll recover !!!

I MISS YOU SINGING

I miss you singing to songs that play
and even those that aren't
I miss the way without a straw
to take a drink you can't

I miss your smile so beautiful
that beams so wide with joy
I miss the way you take me back
to when I was a boy

I miss the strength you held me with
arms wrapped round so tight
I miss sleeping right within your breath
and waking through the night

I miss myself for missing you
What you made of me
I miss the madness lost in lust
Unending tenderly
