BL Withdrawal

Ugh! I haven't been on in a few days with the exception of browsing with my phone and I miss the full BL experience (especially Blogs)

Its embarrasing as to why... My fuckin' macbook is receiving power and the battery is holding a charge but I get nothing on the display. If this was a laptop with PC components I would be well on my way to remedying the issue. Its embarassing because I'm a fuckin' 'computer guy'. I fucked around with the PRAM and SMC but... Nothing. It sucks that I gotta take it to the Apple Store but I'll take it as a learning experience.

I have 3 desktops in storage but the manner in which I packed moving from CO was in a 'I gotta get the fuck outta here' fashion so stuff is in assorted boxes

Anyway, I miss you guys!

They have some neat functions but there are some simple things that you should be able to do that can't be done. I suspect MicroSoft has legal rights to some processes which cripples some of the user-friendliness that should be inherent

 

You're certainly missed, WellDone! Hope the computer is back in order soon; nothing to be embarrassed about as there are plenty of Apple fans to handle it

I hear that Apple has excellent customer service. They have something called the Genius Bar in their store which provides a free 15 minute disagnostic session. I think I am on the AppleCare plan which will cover 100% of the cost of repair.

I enjoy opera mini (I installed it after reading one of your posts) but a pleasant web experience can't be fully enjoyed from a Bberry regardless of browser. At least I have SOME sort of access though, right? I shouldn't be complaining. I should just get the bastard fixed!

I gotta say that I'm very impressed with Apple's customer service. I won't have my computer back until Saturday but... what can ya do? Free is free and the issue is getting resolved.
