I was just wondering if there are any examples of bluelighters volunteering to work with journalists only to have their footage spun in a negative manner to make them or the drug look terrible.

I'm pretty sure I've seen people speaking about such things in the past but as someone who doesn't really watch TV I can't recall any specific examples.

The BBC folk have been a massive disappointment in their EADD dabblings. I BBC. Even wrote an impassioned essay on the justification of their charter renewal when it was up and I was at college many moons ago. I'd probably still write that essay... but through gritted teeth and with far more examples on why they don't deserve a fuckin' penny of it now though. I'd be wrong though cos "Public Service Broadcasting" surely means just giving the publicunts precisely what they expect time after time with no hope of balance or resorting to facts or owt is definitely a broadcasting service to the public... of sorts

Incidentally, have been approached once or twice previously by media of one type or other and... no. For the best. But a shame that some folks who would maybe have summat of value to say will never touch y'all with a reeeeeeeeeealy long and/or reeeeeeeeeeeeeealy shitty stick now
