Ok I think I see the problem here, and I think I have a solution that you guise might think is pretty kewl. I'll try to keep it as brief as possible because I know a lot of the time ppl see my posts in the lounge and all they see is a big "TL;DR".

The cards that lacey made first are like collecting cards. They are like baseball cards or comic cards. They got stats and facts about the person kinda like a mini profile (hmmm, i think I have a new profile pic :D). They are about the
people on BL. They are lounge cards.
The other type of cards that people are makin are like game cards. They are like Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh (or however you spell it) cards. They have different values that play against each other to make a game. They aren't necessarily about people, and their stats and info are different, following a system. You can think of these as the Drug Culture cards.
Let me explain. Instead of just making one type of card and arguing over what type they are, why not create a
new line of cards that is more like the second kind of cards. Someone could actually come up with or borrow one of the Magic-type game mechanics system, and people could make up cards to correspond to the system. Only these cards, rather than being about BL'ers necessarily, are about all aspects of drug culture. For instance, you could have a "shady dealer card" and a "narc card," an "overdose" card, a "bust" card, a "six foot bong" card, etc. Kind of like ego_loss's whippet card. You can make original art for each card, and they don't have to be all the same because it's a different kind of card.
While I know lacey could make a sick template, I'm sure someone else could as well. That way there can be both kinds of cards, more room for experimentation, and everybody is happy. Right? Hell, if you made a game you could even play it in a thread.
