I'm not surprised, but I didn't realize it was this extensive. I really don't follow much behind the scene stuff and I've never met anyone in my 4 years on BL. I think I would be down, I don't mind meeting people, but IME 2 druggies getting together can be a downright disaster. I'm not trying to say everyone is a druggie, and I myself have significantly cut down my drug use by about 95%, so maybe getting together with someone else who's in the process of straightening out might be a good thing. Either way, I'm surprised. Do people usually meet on this particular forum? Like I said, I haven't really followed Sex and Relationships until very recently.
 
Well IRL I get together with more than a few druggies at once, but I don't think these people are on my level.

Maybe a BL'r who was on my level would be a fucking disaster. A fucked up blaze of glory that ends terribly.

Still ok with that for some reason.
 
Well, I'm on almost a year after meeting a BLer. We actually met for the first time in Aug 2012 though. Stuff started to escalate in January 2013.

Not saying things are perfect and I miss him every day, but it's probably the best connection I've ever had with someone and the most fun. Pagey has a point that it's so much easier knowing that the other person likes drugs. The only thing I regret is not having my first molly experience with him, but we've had several of them and they were intense. We've had some amazing times together.

I think we have a rare connection though. I can't say it's forever, but we are good friends as well as the amazing times we have. Best sexual partner ever as well as a ball full of fun.

It helps that one of us is free and both of us have some spending cash. If any of these were not present, it would have failed a long time ago.
 
I wonder what bl couples tell their family and friends when they ask for the story of how they met. I personally believe there is nothing wrong with it and think it is great if you can find your love here but the average person would probably give you some weird looks if you told them you met on a drug forum.

I tell them she picked me up hitch hiking, which is kind of true as I was at a bluelight meet up and she picked us up to go back to a party she was hosting. BL may have bought us together but it is our mutual love of Michael Jackson that kept us together. Having said that I doubt many other fans would have dropped acid on the day he died and rode their bikes around the streets with Wanna be starting something blasting from speakers.

Well it's a lot easier if the person is around your age and from your location. I just used the 'she was visiting her friend at my college and we started talking' which is close enough, other than that the college was a drug forum, and the mutual friend was some other druggie mod. But hey, what they don't know can't hurt them.

It's not necessarily 'behind the scenes' stuff. All it takes is posting in a lot of the same threads as someone with a close enough location to you to make meeting them feasible, and them starting a dialogue with them via PM. I've PMd with a few people that live by me that I could easily meet if I wanted to, and so if we hit it off then so be it.

Post in same threads --> PM --> become FB friends --> find each other attractive --> meet up --> shag

It's not rocket science, nor is it some behind the scenes thing that only certain people are privy to.

I have personally moved back to dating civilians after a few relationships on here. It just works better for me at this phase of the game.

lol I tell them I met from the Internet. If I'm close enough to the person, I say a forum. I think only a couple people know it's a drug forum, but no I don't say "drug forum."

I've told some people "business trip." I tell them he was down on a business trip and I met him, which is true. We first met when he had to come here for business, so it's kinda true. lol
 
lol yeah, I've told people I've met others from the Internet and they look at me weird.

He and I have a running joke when I do something stupid. He says "where the fuck did I find you from? Oh yeah, a drug forum." LOL And the other joke that I ignored him for over a year and wouldn't reply to his PMs, and there I am sitting next to him eating pizza, downing wine and watching comedies with the biggest jackass on Bluelight who most people hate. lol

I came close to meeting some other BLers in cali and didn't go out there. I would meet lots of people from BL and wouldn't think twice about it.
