@VerbalTruist , I guess you're finally getting the reaction out of me that you wanted but please stop copying my/other people's picks every fucking week. You need to switch it up and play fairly or I'm just not going to include you in the scoring.

If pickems stays like this, where it's just Ali and I scoring 99% of the time, people copy/pasting peoples picks, people not making an effort to get their picks in on time even after multiple reminders, then just quitting in the middle of the game and thus cheapening the end results for the rest of us... then I doubt I am gonna be a part of it anymore.

And that's sad because this has been one of my favorite traditions here at Bluelight. There are a million pickems out there to join with random people but doing it here every year was something I looked forward to.

I have been feeling guilty about that too. Just need a routine. But I see it is hard to keep score when picks come in at random. Yet these guys do it.

Mr Krinkle we need figure how these guys score so quick. It is work for sure. And these guys take the brunt of it. I think we will have the flow after a few scores. I am trying to mirror. I am too use to computers doing my math. LOL

it's like anything... the first time you do it, it'll take you 30 minutes and you'll have to go back and redo at least 4 people and double check everything.

the tenth time you do it, it'll take you 5 minutes and it'll all be right first time

I don't want to kick anyone out. I just want people to put the tiniest bit of effort in to make the thread more enjoyable for everyone. What is the fun in copying peoples answers every single week? why not volunteer to the scoring ahead of time when you know you'll have a half hour to figure it out. Then by next year it'll be no big thing and you can do it no problem.

Thanks for the notes. It is funny I get data thrown at me all day that I have to put to spreadsheets or tables and do SQL or something. Then I see the football data and wonder wonder where to stick it. And of course scouring through these random posts to find the pics. Then discovering that some are just copying. Big puzzles lol Those scores are immaculate.

they have a pick em league you can make on yahoo, just like fantasy, and they do all the scoring for you - ive done it before on there

I have thought about that.. but like mal offered up.. its a small and long lasting bl tradition. I takes 10 min and the person that scores learns the league.
