Bitter-tasting tabs, but glowing under UV?

I had already taken half of a 1/4 of an inch, pink paper with dark purple ink blotter a few weeks ago. It had tasted strongly of chemical but had not numbed my mouth, and resulted in a 12 hour trip but with none of the uncomfortable body load or sober mind space usually associated with the 25x NBOMe series.. However the strong taste made me presume it had been 25i. But today I bought a good blacklight and decided to test it, and it glowed a very bright white/blue under the UV light. I had thought this may be just the paper reacting as other white colored paper in the room was, but the blotter paper was pink in color, so why would it glow blue? Is there any explanation for this? I don't want to get my hopes up about the possibility of it being legit LSD, but am I correct in thinking that the NBOME series does not glow under UV?

Sounds like LSD. NBOMe doesn't glow under UV at all.

taste could be all that ink,
best to get an ehrlich reagent.
then again you have purple ink on your blotter so idk if ehrlich would even be reliable in this situation.
shady dealers can be crafty.

The taste is most likely the ink. So I would say you have some LSD

And you are correct that NBxxx's do not glow under UV at all.

Best to get an Ehrlich Reagent, it might not help you now with it being a dark purple tab. But for future purposes.

Thanks for the insight guys. I may invest in an Erlichs test kit, but for right now I'm only getting it from the same source every time so I'm not sure if it's worth it yet. Is there any possibility that the paper for some reason could glow blue on its own despite its original color/could have been somehow treated to glow blue? The source I am buying from I highly doubt is meddling with the tabs themselves as they would not have the resources, rather they're getting them straight from the darknet I believe. Can ink really taste that bitter? It did seem like the taste was mostly on the surface of the paper but it was very sharp..

LSD can taste slightly bitter. I've eaten loads of LSD blotter and some of the best tabs I tripped on tasted a little bit chemical. It shouldn't be that strong though.
DOM tastes very bitter... I'm not sure whether or not that glows under UV light.

for me, even 250mics has no taste.
but as little as 25-50mics will give me instant chills down tongue, down my throat, then down my spine, as well as a thick layer of saliva on the back of my throat for the entirety of the trip. every time.

just ate some paper the other day with a bitter taste. nice trip.
pretty sure either the numbing of NBOME or the length of a DOX is the real giveaway.

Hmm, can't say that's what I tasted/felt... Perhaps it was 25i cause all that happened was the taste for me, but I did stick it on my gums instead of my tongue. I forgot to mention as well, although I did not experience any numbing whatsoever, my friend claims he did... However that was after they had already taken a half so they could have been imagining it, I don't know.

Many inks taste bitter indeed, so that is not the best indicator - therefore 'if bitter its a spitter' might result in some loss of perfectly good LSD even if its meant to be pro HR, and is - I guess.

Yeah UV is a better indicator as LSD (but also tryptamines and other lysergamides) glow under UV light. I guess chlorinated paper could glow under UV but nobody in their right mind would use that for LSD anyway.

In the end, reagent tests are more reliable than both above indications and the best of all is of course a lab analysis.

As we cannot do anything but speculate from this point on, this thread will now be closed. Please realize what chances you are taking by going with not indifinitive or unreliable testing, and choose wisely.
