Cocaine Bitter cocaine that tastes/smells citric?

Hey folks, I don't use cocaine often...but I can usually tell if it's good or not based on the high and the smell. I realize that cocaine HCL isn't supposed to have an odor, but I have never had odorless cocaine that was good (probably because pure cocaine is impossible to find).

What concerns me in this case is that I have been always getting cocaine from the same guy, and it's almost always got the same smell and taste and high. But today I got some shit from him that makes me never want to get from that guy again...it's got mild numbing, but the taste and smell are just not good (almost like a lime taste)...the high is super weak too.

Maybe I should re-name this post "why a good drug dealer should be concerned with consistency of his/her product" haha.

Idk, maybe I shouldn't use the smell to judge the cocaine? And that brings up another point, I have read in many forum that cocaine smells like the solvents used in the manufacturing process...but I don't think acetone or diesel smells like what I thought cocaine smells like (it's really impossible for me to compare it to anything other than cocaine...cause that's the only source I can associate that smell with).

What your cocaine smells like isn't really a very good indicator for its % purity. I've had cocaine that smelled of organic solvents that was awesome, but I've also had cocaine that smelled like solvents that gave me a terrible headache and no high. If it has a lime taste maybe it's cut with suboxone or is the acetate of cocaine or the citrate of cocaine, who knows? Cocaine is always such garbage, if you want good cocaine I suggest going on dn or something lol.

Pure cocaine in the sense of the pure hydrochloride is almost never going to be found. You rarely hear of cocaine being made in labs because plenty of it is being made in the jungles already. So almost all raw coke you get is going to smell like petroleum and look incredibly sparkly and very very hard like a stone.

If it's not that, it's cut or maybe not even coke.

Good cocaine, if it's a chunk should be "mother of pearl" in colour, shimmers, is oily, has a strong chemical smell, numbs and flakes apart when broken down.

Well, considering I am in the north west of the north west coast...i'm pretty far north, and I understand that the cocaine travels from south to north (getting cut along the way). So I doubt it's cocaine citrate or something like that, isn't pure cocaine supposed to make your face numb when you snort it?

But who knows, I have read that there are special quality assurance agreements/pacts between the gangs that import cocaine into Canada. So there is most likely very good cocaine coming directly into the country, though once it reaches it's destination if obviously gets cut up.

I did notice some effects, but with the last bag I got I would have big ass pupils and tropane like side effects almost immediatley...i think it was one of the few times I got a good buzz on cocaine (it was very psychedelic in a way, but more leaning towards delerious/dissociative effects). No comedown either!

You can't judge cocaine's purity accurately by look, taste, or smell.
