anyway, back on topic, ive seen bitcoins far more than litecoins, but who knows what the future will bring
 
ya there are some pretty good step by step videos on youtube for using pgp, thats how I got my head around it, the dude in one video is showing how to use it for a specific tor site ;) wink wink.

wish id seen them now, i thin ill just carry on with my small time buys until i get bored of them. My love affair with Bupe is one that i cannot afford to go along with for too long. :|

Oh yeah, anyone know iof any good UK bitcoin sites, where i wont keep having to pay thr £10 exchange/foreign payment charge please ?

bitbargain.co.uk seems to be a bit better than localbitcoins these days, I think. Both reliable though.
 
Has anyone else noticed bitcoin confirmations are much faster than they used to be? :)

is mtgox worth it in the uk? or would it be better to use bitbargin?

also, dunno if this is against the rules or not, but on the road do you have to make a few 'bogus' buys before you can buy any real goodies, I heard you'll get ripped off if you don't have a decent seller rating or something (this could be bollocks btw, new to the whole biz)

I always use localbitcoins with no issues.

Might be a bit close to sourcing but lets see how long it lasts. I've always been very selective with my vendors and only picked ones with (100) or (99) scores. I seem to remember a few vendors requesting FE to start with (but the deals came off without a hitch), but never had to make any bogus buys, whatever that means.
 
Stick with bitbargain. Mtgox used to allow deposits into their UK bank account, but now the only option is a Japanese one.

I would suggest avoiding any purveyor requiring any sort of jumping-through-hoops nonsense. I believe that site has its own forum that you're better off asking questions on, though. :)
 
how can they make bitcoins illegal? how do they detect ppl buying or trading them?
not a happy precedent. perhaps if they were used/seen as less of a way of buying drugs and gain wider acceptance...
 
That isn't going to happen, though. What legal reasons do you need to stay anonymous, unless you're particularly paranoid?
