wish it was simple as that. irish community welfare officers have a serious power trip. so when they ask me what I was making an international transfer for 400 euro in one go and then lesser amounts in individual transactions they will press the matter. telling them to fuck off would mean Id get turned down no doubt. Although under other circumstances i would love to say fuck off.

It must be. What you spend your money that you have earnt yourself 12 months before you claim benefits is none of their fuckin business. I wouldnt phrase it exactly like that though, how about make an apparent joke like ' i spent it on call girls and drugs', or just "i spent it on drugs" lol. Brazen it out, hide in plain sight, like jimmy saville did.

It really cant be any of their business. You dont live in Iraq. You have human rights.

If it was a different scenario, like, immediately prior to a claim and thousands of pounds suddenly disapear from your accounts so that you suddenly dont have too much money to qualify for benefits, then it would be reasonable for them to question something like that.

the only real benefit these sites provide is an escrow system and more exposure for vendors. once you have established relationships with people it is actually more beneficial to just bypass the websites and eliminate any commission fees you might have to pay out. SR is the greediest, but gives the most exposure

Mt Gox is such a shittily run website for the amount of traffic it gets

people should realize there's other places to exchange currencies and they are a lot more third-world situated which is actually a good thing for this particular field

All my problems getting my cash out of bitstamp are beginning to make sense now. They used every known stalling/delaying tactic I'd ever heard of, and some that i hadnt. First time was for quite a big payout of £3,700. Later on they even delayed a transfer out from their site for half a bitcoin. Sounds like they're all running on a shoestring, and cant release coins until their coffers are suitably full.

This is all speculation but it all adds up. 8)

yeah it's certainly a crap shoot I was just saying it might be worth someone's while to mine DGC for a day/night just while the difficulty is so low

in other news, this guy is a sheister

thanks for replys guys. id forgotten I had posted in here :) I still havent gone in for the rent allowance yet, I think my best bet is the family abroad scenario that dan mentioned. @mydrugbuddy they really are assholes over here with things like that. ive been claiming for a few years and i live with my girlfriend but on paper we are just housemates as we would lose about 60 euro a week if they knew the truth, but we would be entitled to rent allowance so it balances out, which kind of adds to the problem as when we go for rent allowance we have to say weve suddenly got together 8(

I use Bitinstant in the states but you may not have that option.

It's getting harder and harder to get coins without using Mt. Gox. :/

Some vendors sell them for C.I.M. or greendot moneypaks/western union I hear.

Its dead easy to get your cash converted to coins through Bitstamp, but you'll have hell of a job getting your cash back should you ever want to. They'll fuck you around for a day or 2 when you want to transfer your coins too. Seems to be par for the course. Fuckin shady business. At least they dont seem to be outright crooks, just a bit dishonest IMO the way they come across; transparent bullshit to excuse any delays. They wanted to see a screen shot of my bank statement to prove i was who i said i was. WTFF.
 
I know where to get bitcoins at good prices if anyones interested. However it's a bit volatile at the moment but that doesnt seem to phase ebayers who are paying almost double the going rate for coins. Crazy!!

They been fine for me, altho i think you was waiting on a bigger withdrawl than i do, its fast as hell using SEPA,
